I'm going to have to disagree on the increased competitiveness...

Burnside didn't game plan one time during the season, still went 13-3

Every year new teams promote and every year the same teams end up sticking around in the end, (with the exception of one or two new teams)

My playoff teams (in no particular order):
Burnside
Moose Jaw
MEM
District 9
Buffalo
TSOTF
FBRD
Bloodweiser

Thanks for the write up. Rhombus roster is now more finished than before. Half the squad has been together since rookie or soph, and I've owned it the whole time.

Funny you should mention. Rhombus spent most of its climb as a network team. Network crashed, but team remains.

In general I agree with Joe, 7 of 8 of last years playoff teams were returning teams from the season before.

I haven't looked at any teams rosters or anything besides reading T2's post but I assume it will be 4-6 of last years playoff teams plus MEM plus two or three other teams surviving this coming season but I haven't done one bit of research to back this up, except I know that the 6 teams here from last years playoffs are good teams, the teams coming up could be better tho so who knows really?

After Bloodweiser stuggled to survive last season I have to say while it was embarrassing to be *paying attention* in the regular season before playoffs began, it did make the season more exciting for me and for Sean*.

Hope it's a bloodbath again tbh.

It just irks me to see someone say that team A losing to team B means team A isn't worth it when team A was 6 levels lower than team B... -_-

It's illogical. A level 79 team will beat a level 73 team. If it doesn't, something is wrong there.

I don't think anyone is saying that since team A is listed higher than team B, that team A will automatically win! You're taking this post the wrong way!

Relax a little! Everyone will be 79 by day 2! then I'm sure T2 will do it again!

Its crazy that people are getting their panties in a bunch because of EL! Where's TCat when you need him, he'll be in here in 2 seconds with a book about how EL doesn't matter! Trust me, I've been hearing it for years!

If we all agreed with what other people were saying there would be no discussion either.

That said I saw a couple of Hagalaz dots first hand last season on some minors team I was on and he builds great dots so if he's with Rhombus they will be decent.

tbh, some of you are giving too much credit to one team because of name recognition. nice chem issue you guys have over there. if their DC has any cares will be the only reason they stay in this league S34.

while I am a MEM lolGM (because coach is a nice guy who sorted Bloodweiser for a CB for a good while) I am generally speaking for Bloodweiser when I say anything;

While MEMs chemistry is junk I think we are not recognising names here with MEM and giving them credit, it is recognising that MEM know what it takes to compete at the top level... let alone Nat Pro.

I don't know some of ye new guys, ye might be great, this is all sh1t talk till we start playing (from me, Joe, and everyone)

This is not about me being on this team. If you've seen me around the forums you'd know I don't shut up when I see people doing stuff wrong, and this is wrong. It's not about EL, it's not about anything like that. It's simply and only about the fact that he gives weight to the result of a game between a full level 79 team and a level 73 team as something definitive. He's ignoring the blatant advantage one of the teams has over the other. It's unacceptable.

EDIT: And EL does matter.
