GG Blaze. The endgame AI in casual is pretty dumb and made that one look much more embarassing for us than it should of been. Just not enough to stop you guys and we got away from our offensive gameplan way too early.

And the playoff possibilities for the final two spots in Alpha are going to be fun to watch. Five teams fighting for two spots. Three games to really watch the craziness in week 16.

Wilbury Twisters (8-7) at Montenegro Meat(8-7)
These are the only two teams of the five that purely control their playoff destiny. The winner of this one is in at either the seven seed for Wilbury, or possibly as high as the six seed for Montenegro. The loser is not completely out of it, as the final slot will go to an 8-8 team. I think Wilbury is in reguardless unless Xenia upsets Shadow and Montenegro has to root for their sister team in San Diego to win over Granwinsnell if they lose the game.

San Diego Samurai (7-8) at Granwinsnell Polarkats (7-8)
As far as I can tell San Diego is still technically alive to get in with a win but their likely role here is to possibly play spoiler and kingmaker for the final playoff slot. Granwinsnell has better tiebreakers with wins over Xenia and Montenegro but their loss to Wilbury this past game severely hurt their chances. They have to be Twister fans foremost and if they take care of buisiness against San Diego and Montenegro and Xenia both lose, they appear to have the right cards in hand to slip into the #8 seed.

Xenia Xplosion (7-8) at Shadow Pheonix (10-5)
Probably the hardest mountain to climb would go to Xenia. Their first hurdle would obviously have to be in pulling the upset over the Pheonix to climb to 8-8. Then, it gets kind of squirrely. They need for one of Meatbomb's associated teams to win their games (might not matter which one) and then they are in a three way tie for one slot with two teams they split games with. If both Meat teams lose, they are basically eliminated because they would lose any tie-breaker advantages.

Good slate of games to close it out for some teams that have fought through a bit of adversity this season as they've adjusted to the pro league level disparity. Going to be interesting to watch as five teams that have generally been perennial playoff contenders fight over two spots.

Been a tough one. I know we have both lost games that have been complete moments. Honestly, right now San Diego is playing a lot better than the Meat. I seem to have finally figured out that team's offense. Montenegro is so anemic on that side of the ball that they are always in danger of simply not scoring enough to win against any decent team.

Play ended with 1 second on the clock. San Diego called time and hit the game winner to end the game.

I've rarely seen crazier endings than that and I know it is an absolute freak occurance for your guys to give up passing numbers like that. Sadly, neither team made the playoffs. San Diego's win did get my Meat team in though. Weird that I can probably look back at a week 2 game between the Samurai and Meat that decided the final playoff slot. I'm in that rare club now of both knocking myself into and out of the playoffs.

Prior to that game San Diego was 0-5 all time against the Kats. Huge win for those guys. Sorry it probably cost you guys a playoff slot. Lots of teams had a tough go of it this season with having to climb over a little level differential.

And GG to Wilbury from my Meat. Excellent defensive call and I think I basically adjusted right into the blitz there. 10 sacks doomed me. You guys earned that one, just couldn't get any consistency going there at all. Best of luck in the playoffs and congrats on being Meatbeaters.

No worries about knocking us out. We've been playing like poopoo kaka all season.

Hopefully we'll have our minds right come S33.
