Just to clarify, Jay89 was on pace to possibly replace myself as OC of the Hedgehogs ~5 seasons ago. He talked well and despite hearing a few "warnings" he seemed like a good guy who was willing to learn. During the transition period I asked him to do some scouting on an opposing defense (~come up with 10 pass plays and 10 run plays that'd be successful and why) so we can discuss it. Jay89 said ok, but never ended up doing it.

When approached he said something to the tune of "I don't feel like doing that" but tried to assure me that he can OC at the Pro+ level but just doesn't want to do 15 minutes of scouting. At this point it became extremely clear this isn't someone I want touching my AI's.

So in summary, Jay89 did as much towards OCing the Hedgehogs as bort has.

I'm not complaining. We already were told by jay89 he almost OC'd for your team. Just confused as to why you had to "clarify" in 3 paragraphs as to why he wasn't picked as if any of us really were that curious?

All you really had to say is "he's not my OC because he's terrible at this game."
