I know I've been pretty silent in this forum, but I want to take some time to say GG to everyone the Toadlickers have played thus far.
Each game is a learning experience, especially when you enter a league where you are outmatched. If you've got some toughness and are persistent, it makes you better. I've had to work for 2 of our last 3 wins. If I began a little sooner, Tijuana might have another 2 wins in their record. Instead, I've had to manufacture 2 wins to offset those losses. So, would our record really be any better than it is now? Probably not. I needed those losses to motivate me.
To the Warlocks: That certainly was a good game, and for me, a wake up call. I expected to win that game, and took it for granted. A hard fought contest, and you deserved that win.
To Emerald Coast: I've had my eye on you guys since the beginning of Preseason 29. I wanted that championship, but knew it might be out of reach. Still, I've tried to play you guys as tough as possible given the level disparity. My satisfaction this season lies in having held you to 33 points despite how badly you shut our offense down. One of these days I'll find a way to beat you guys.
