Back in 2008, around draft time, when we were hopeful or pissed, I forget which (probably both). I was following the website Arrowhead Pride and someone posted the link to GLB. Turned out there were a ton of Chiefs fans, all looking for some football action 'cause they weren't getting any in KC. Its been that way ever since. The worse the Chiefs do the more fans I notice on GLB. Opposite seems true as well. Hopefully this year, with Crennel, a full backfield, some speed guys, and finally an offensive line we'll see KC interest in GLB fall off altogether.

I feel ya brother... GLB needs to do a bit better organizing the conferences at least if not the leagues.

There are some pretty tight teams in the competitive leagues that would do fine in Elite and clear out some of the CPU heavy teams where we are.

But no way should a bunch of very good teams with level 72 players like we have here be in the same conference with a couple of level 81 teams with full rosters, just because they won championships and got in Regional Pro Elite.

edit: but I will add I've seen some serious upsets engineered by rookie Regional Pro Elite teams.
Especially from patient teams that squeeze every drop of training out of their dots before adding SP and boosting.
Several don't even add VA until they hit the pro leagues.
Its not quite any given day yet here at GLB but it I have seen it be any given season.

Elite #1 and Elite #2 are the same thing. We went to the playoffs in Elite #1 and just got reshuffled to Elite #2. Same thing happened with a few other teams as well. I'm sure sucky Elite #2 teams were sent to Elite #1 as well.

We won 3 straight ELITE golds going through several teams that had higher ELs than us.

Oh, and it was Semi Pro Elite #1, and are 2 previous golds were Elite #1 as well.
