I never once mentioned pre-boost , and was actually trying to say PW dots should not get extra boost at end of career to allow lvl 79 because then everyone would want to start at PW to get asn extra season of training at low levels.

I am just some times not real good at expressing my ideas into literature.Originally posted by All American Dude

Allowing PW to preboost would make being competitive even more expensive. With the increase in no/no teams this would obviously not be something that is welcomed.

Adding 3 boosts to the end of a PW's career would only make people more hesitant to build their PW dot in the PW manner. If you can still hit 79 at the end of your dot's career why would you screw his build up in PW?

I think giving PW dots an increase in initial creation SPs is the #1 thing that would improve interest in the PW leagues. If anything, people should be pushing for 25-30 initial SPs moreso than anything else.

the bolded part in Dub quote is what I was trying to express. I am definitely not thinking of any exra boost, pre or post

It's no biggie. The main thing I'm trying to get across is there are some really good ideas floating around out there to increase interest in PW but it seems to get little backing from the PW community.

Actually, quite a lot of us were involved in a PM exchange with Ellis Bell last season (or the one before?) giving our ideas for reform of Pee wee, which included things like higher level PW players, starting with more SP, etc. Ellis was acting as a go-between, and the word from above was that nothing dramatic was going to happen in the short-term, merely the adjustment of league sizes as and when needed.

The Gerr suggestion (which is a very good starting point even if I don't agree 100% with it) has finally creeped past page 1.

I'm not so sure many people are jumping all over higher level pee wee dots with VAs and everything else is why it hasn't gone anywhere...tbh I am not a fan of playing with level 50 dots in a different league type but I would love for Pee Wee dots to get higher base attributes to start out and maybe more SPs when leveling up and boosting.

The same thing was suggested by Time Trial many seasons ago and ended up being shot down

Oh, I agree. The lvl. 40 peewee idea is on the NGTH list. That's why I posted that I wasn't in 100% agreement with the suggestion but adding initial points and more initial SP and an extra SP or 2 for each level up would be great for PW.

The dots would remain the same levels they are now but with more SPs.

That sounds like a great idea to me

This all is NGTH. We have to have a logical non drastic solution. It's been said over and over again there will be no special rules for PW. You can't have accountability in the script with 2 sets of rules.

Idea.

An overall player boost.

Start at level 19. This would be the level of your dot after boosting 1 complete season.

This will allow new players to experiment with VA's,SP's, builds, AI's.

Everyone can make level 79.

PW players would adjust to rebuilding every season. Everyone would own rookie teams and would have better competition in lower leagues buy having rewards for multiple tournaments hosted by GLB.

There is no reason for this to be NGTH at all, actually. If we convince Bort that it will probably make him more money from Pee Wee than he does now, he might well think it's worth his time to mess with the format a bit. If it was a simple adjustment like giving Pee Wee dots a ton more SP at creation, and no other changes other than to make them compulsory one and done, I can't imagine that would involve that much work, either.

Otherwise, somewhere down the line, Pee Wee becomes totally NBNC, or as near as makes no difference, and he loses all those players who don't really want to spend money outside Pee Wee. So change is to his advantage, at this point. And as I keep saying, if he did it right, and made Pee Wee all about relatively high-level 1 and done dots with access to VP, I think it could be a big success. The impatient, the new, and those who just wanted to mess around with build ideas every season, would all be potential customers.

One of GLB's major problems, from the standpoint of attracting new customers, is the fact that you quickly find out that low level dots are dull as hell to watch, and that you're looking at several months before that changes - if you manage to build right. Screw it up, and you're back to square one with several more months to wait. Give people the chance at relatively fast, strong, skillful dots from day 1, who end up around the equivalent of a level 50-60 dot by playoffs, and they are more likely to find that appealing, and come back for more.

Just my opinion.
