As someone mentioned in another thread, this is the last season of this awesome grouping of teams so, where is everyone going?

Ithaca is going back to EE.

I can't really say for sure, we are the last teams screwing up the accelerated program.

Newfoundland(one season older than Ithaca) went pro this season after a 12-4 season and a first round playoff loss.

Yeah I really need to think about where I want to go. I have the team set for USA as a default having heard it is one of the most competitive leagues out there. I've also debated Oceania hearing that it is the easiest way to enter the World Leagues. I haven't paid much attention to what part of the world does what though. Curious to know other thoughts and direction. Would love to try and maintain a friendly rivalry or two in the process of discovering which portion of the planet to invade

No decision yet. Started team in Canada in S 5/6, so that is 1st choice. Will let my long time agents vote on it.

Well, are the time of day that the sims actually run determined by what pro league you go to?

I really like it when my teams sim at 10pm EST and hated last season when they sim'd at 10am EST.

I think it's always changing to match Borts servers to the max number games running at a given time. I may be wrong though.

I hear you there. I hated those morning matchups. 10pm might be a bit late for me cause then i might end up having to stay up to midnight watching games I prefer the 5 to 8pm EST time ranges most.

I like the later times because it gives me more opportunity for last minute AI adjusting and extra time to double check my shit. Trying to do that early morning before work can be disastrous.

sim at 10am scenario:

game 1 sims at 10am. get home from work at 6pm, watch game and drink a beer (or 3) shower , eat dinner. Depending on what's happening in RL, possibly do a bit of scouting next opponent. Next day, get up at 5:30am, log in about 6am to check trainings and stuff on 70+ dots, leave at 6:30am for work, get home at 6pm. beer, shower, dinner, either do all scouting of opponent or finish what's left from previous evening, adjust AI's. Get to sleep by 12am, Get up at 5:30 am and off to work by 6:30 , rinse repeat for games 2-16+ . Mix in tourney games along the way.

sim at 10PM scenario:

game 1 sims at 10PM. Watch replays, start scouting next opponent, bed by 12am. Get home from work at 6pm, check training, tactics, and EQ on 70+ dots and drink a beer (or 3) shower , eat dinner. Finish scouting if not done the previous evening, adjust AI's. Next day, leave at 6:30am for work, get home at 6pm. Now have 3 hours to double check my AI's and finish anything not done the nights before. Game sims at 10PM, Watch replays, start scouting next opponent......rinse repeat.

Just seems I can get more done when it is a late evening sim, and it's not so stressful. If I have some RL stuff going on, I can always squeeze more GLB time in the early evening before the game sims or whenever.

I just hate morning sims.

You sound like you are single Bane. I can't even remember the last time I had a schedule with a wife and 1.5 kids (probably 2 by this time next week)

not single, married with 2 kids. One is 16 and other is 14 , so not a lot of other people's butt wiping to do anymore. Both my kids are real good , too (not because of me either, that's for sure) and the older one drives so that frees me up a bit as well.

The older they get, the more of a "schedule" I seem to have. Shit, if I was single I would never be on GLB, be to busy chasing tail and gettin laid !

Bane, you must hate our game schedule this season. I know I do. I am single now and hate having to do GLB stuff the night before. Not always as clear headed as I should be.HA! And kills the tail chasing most nights.

yes, It's morning sim time again. For both of my older teams. And both on same days as well.

Luckily my regional pro team has an easier schedule than the WCG. I must say though, I am quite please with how WCG schedule plays out. The really tough games are in the second half of the season , gives me time to get my offense playing slightly better than suck.

edit: also, if givin a choice I will take WCG to regional pros, unless forced to go nationals.
