I'm not sure which was worse, seeing this over and over and over again:

Well, well, well...................................

First round of playoffs are over and it is was a bloodbath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's start with the first game...........

Mishawaka upsets the mighty swampdogs in a 10-9 game.
If you go the distance Mishawaka, ask yourself was it worth it? All the teams
who have come so far to have their hopes dashed by a lower ranked team.......
Was it worth it? You know you are just adding to the list of teams that have
your number. Right now, it is somber mood,....like the day after Mardi gras
(Ash Wednesday) down there in the big easy. They like their dotball team and
they won't forget. On the bright side, I say well done. Pulling victory out of the jaws
of defeat by coming back to claim the 8th seed in the playoffs and not falling in round
one. Swampdogs, it was a great season. Don;t give up. Mishawaka, good luck going
forward. You are going to need it.


Crimea upsets the JetNation in a 6-0 game.
Low scoring defensive battle here. Almost boring. These two teams just shut each
other down. Like watching a tennis match.....back and forth. Two field goals was
the difference.....period. JetNation, you gave it your all but it seems you could not
buy a pass completion. Crimea was in the same situation, but a few key missed tackles
got them the field position. No one player's fault. Chance. Still sucks. Offense scores
points which wins games. Looks like Crimea had their day today. Jet Nation is still
truly a top notch team. Crimea, well done. I will use the a word here you guys may recognize.
FINALLY!!!! Finally a game that goes our way. I always knew. True Crimea Fashion!!!!

Detroit pounds the Ground pounders in a 44-3 blast!!!!
Wow!!! Wow!!!! In the regular season you won the game 24-13. In the playoffs, 44-3?????
What gives? I told you Ground Pounders. I introduced you as the true GLB's you are. Much
respect and all. But.....but....Like when the Persians came to Greece.....they said THIS IS
SPARTA!!!! Well the dogs have said THIS IS ELITE #1!!!!!!! And man did they show their colors
today. This is the type of competition we relish. GP, Remember this game with the spirirt of GLB
rivalry, come back stronger, and make them pay!!! Reservior of Dogs, well done. You have left
no doubt why you are here and that you may not just be one of the contenders, but the contender!!!!

Frankendots kicks Hatersville out of the playoffs in a 30-3 marathon!!!!!
I meant that literally. I have never seen so many fieldgoals in a game. The refs were complaining
about tired arms with all the fieldgoals. Special teams had to be tired after this game. Looks like key
long passes provided the field position here that enabled the field goals. You know me, I don't hate. And it
looks like the Frankendots don't either. This game was entertaining with good plays. Short yardage
was not given freely. It almost brings a tear to my eye to see the loss here. But you played the
Frankendots. Seems they went with what works and went safe. Field goal position, kick. Hope to see
you guys next season. As for the Dots, good luck going forward.....becasue with this sim, luck is required.


Side note:
This season has seen some interesting changes. Some have said the sim is the worst ever. At this point in
the life of our teams, it becomes more about game planning and strategy and less about whether a particular
build is better or worse. Because you just don't run over teams as we did when they were rookie league level.
As seen recently, there are upsets. This is because there is not that much difference between the teams overall.
I guess that by changing the sim by powering up or down certain aspects (like offensive blocking, or passing) makes
it so that one team just does not ruin over everyone else. This seems to be done randomly because of bugs or
complaints. Not really fair but forces owners to make their team more rounded in all areas and not just super in
one area. I don't want to see everyone discouraged and start over all the time just cause they lose once or twice.

Fwiw I don't mind losing games. My other team went 6 calendar months without losing a game in casual to another casual team, and I moved it to regular because I was bored out of my mind. Same thing here. If Frankendots won every game it would be boring as hell because of lack of challenge. Doesn't matter if it's by 3 or by 100, if you never lose, it still boring. To be honest, Frankendots isn't anywhere near that level, so that isn't my problem. My problem is with an entirely unwatchable sim in which it doesn't matter what you do on offense against whomever, run or pass, it is still going to make for the ugliest and sloppiest game of dots one could imagine. That on it's face really isn't a big deal. We've had defensive sims before. However, this isn't even a defensive sim because you can't get INT's much, sacks are way down, and forget about fumbles. On top of that, special teams is utterly useless and the ONLY plays you can hope for are the FF or a sexy return that makes you start on the other side of the 50. There are zero big plays in this sim in ANY facet of the game, and when you have that, it is boring. If you find this sim to be exciting and you are logging in for any reason other than obligation to your teams and dots, or you are just hanging around in the hope that they fix it in the offseason, then you really need to go outside. I actually thought last season was the worst ever until this season started.

If I wanted to watch a game like this i'd go and coach 6 year old pee wee football. Sad thing is, big plays still happen there at that level.

Dont worry, pretty much what I expected. A low scoring game with a big play making the difference for one side or the other. Today was your turn to get the big play. GG to you.

Actually I do complain about it all the time, just not on these forums. After every win or loss I complain to the owner of the team and in our team forum.
