DTs are just space eaters now, after BR there really isnt a ton of great options. Focus on on passrush VAs if u want a hurry every few games, tackling VAs which I personally think are best atm or go for some of the attrib modifiers which can be powerfull if they stack.

Kinda regret making mine... All he does is take up space and make a rare tackle or hurry. DT's are the redheaded step child of GLB.

If my DT's don't become FF artists at a high level when they're done I'll never make one again. The 2 I made was the last attempt on making effective DT's.

I'll save you time. Mine hasen't had a ff in the higher levels. And he use to have atleast 1 since start. Playing on power tackler since birth...

The only way I have seen DT's make plays through personal experience is to build one that does PD's, I have built a few that way

DTs dont normally have enough time to get any momentum to force a fumble, that and u need velocity which is also limited by a position that doesnt exactly take it that high. Im making my newest DT with basically the hope of just stoping the run and I will probably take jumping up higher than I normally would have and hope for some PDs

Yup, I've been experimenting with that myself, adding points to jumping later on in the build. What I think is also effective is using your VAs for jumping the snap. But that also means you'll have to add onto vision, since it's a vision check thing. In conjunction with a First Step SA once the dot is lvl 40+, I think you'll have a good 'quick twitch' type DT and DE.

So if you have vision you should go with jump the snap then right? I might make that my 4th VA then. I have BR, PR, and technique man maxed out.
