There has been a lot of talk about this in the other thread, but has anyone sent support or Catch22 a PM? I sent a PM to Catch. I think the skipping over of a complete age level made the automatic sorting confused. This League needs to be human sorted with some rational thought behind it.

Last Season's Semi-Pro Champion in League #6? Ezra should have already put in a request to move to Elite. ULU teams in Elite? That's crazy.

I bet the ULU teams are all lumped together due to rivalry point system. At least they got all those teams in one league, albeit the wrong one.

Just based off of effective level, and nothing else, this is close to how the top three Leagues should shake out. Obviously room for movement for teams with high effective level, and half full rosters.

28 Teams with 1150 or above Effective level.

48 Teams between 1149 - 1050

39 Teams between 1049 - 900

Davy I just sent Catch a message with a link here. Hopefully he has time to check it out. I basically asked for some kind of resort with at least 2 Elite's.

How do pro promotions work from reg->>>cas pro?

I would think that if it's league champ and silver based like Pro-->>>WL, that they wanted the teams that were ready set up to go. Does that make sense?


Why would Darkness promoto to Cas Pro next season? You and those that jumped from Nat Minor should wait til 28, while those demoted from Cas pro or those in Semi last season should promote.

I heard back from Ellis Bell Catch22 forwarded my message to support without ever opening it. I guess the Admins have that ability. In my PM I used an example of how messed up the League tier was that a former Semi-Pro Champ was in a Lower League than an unboosting team that went 10-6 last season.

Her reply was that Leagues are placed based on Effective levels and wanted to know what team I was talking about and to provide their link and she would move them to Elite.

I then replied again, that the situation wasn't about that team, as I just used that as an example. I said if Leagues are supposed to be paired by Effective level, then there must have been a bug as all 6 Leagues range from 1200+ Eff level to 700 Eff level. I supplied her links to the 2 threads we are discussing this in. Shed read that 2nd message, but I have not heard back.

Seems like this is going to be a wasted season for a lot of teams. Especially the ULU teams.

It would be a lot of work but I think we need to offer admins a solution with data backing it up rather then just say "re-sort". It obviously re-sorted it based on however the system is setup to do it.

If there is to be change, someone needs to analyze each and every teams EL, roster size, etc and rank all 6 leagues teams. Then split them up that way.

This is a lot of work that I'm sure admins don't want to take the time to do at this point in the offseason.

We can't just take Davy's list because some of those higher EL teams have 30 players on the roster and would be able to compete with full rostered team with a lower EL. His list is a start point but each team would need to be analyzed to verify their legitimacy. If my memory serves me right, a few teams don't even have a roster.

Curious to see how this all shakes out. Wouldn't be surprised if everything is left as is though. :-(

His point is that there are teams in Elite #1 with full roster's of level 49's. Because of our 2 league jump there must be a bug in the EL sorting. There was at least 3 teams that I know of with higher EL and were placed in lower leagues. Mustang Nation, Nerd Herd and East Coast Smack Down were all placed in lower leagues instead of Elite. I already had ECSD moved into Elite #1.

I completely agree! I just think it is going to have to be sorted manually and GLB Admin's aren't going to want to look at 192 teams at this point in the off season.

I always forward Support matters to them immediately (and this was a Support issue as it was dealing with team placement/movement). If they need my assistance with something, they will bring it to my attention.
