I am 99% positive that regardless of the position, being set to blitz as the first item in any player progression has the player conducting the same rolls to get off the snap. What we know from DE's and DT's, with vision at 61 and higher they stand a very good chance at reacting off the snap within the first couple of ticks. Now here is my personal thought, with the LB having 70+ vision, they already stand an excellent chance at reacting to the snap if they are straight up just blitzing. I would not max out JTS for these guys, but rather go with 5 or 10 as an insurance policy.

JTS is over-rated for a blitzing ROLB... So is vision. I've seen backers do real real well without building either up very much...

What other Extra Abilities would you guys add to a Blitzer LB, Besides Track Start & JTS?

I'm going sure tackle and thinking power tackle. Does power tackle give a bonus to forcing fumbles on sacks? If it does I'm for sure getting it. A FF% piece+big sack+power tackle sounds great on a sack. I know power tackle doesn't help you get the sack but the force fumble is what I'm aiming for on a sack.

interesting, nobody has even mentioned fearsome... whats the consensus.. would you all choose Fearsome, JTS or Power Tackler as a Blitzing LB.

I am keeping my Track Star but if we get a VA reset i might drop JTS to 5 and use those in either Power Tackler/Fearsome...

Thoughts?

Fearsome depends if your team uses 4 down linemen or 3. So if your team is in a 3-4 it's only going to trigger when the dline+you+someone else blitz, other then that it shouldn't fire. I won't invest in it till I'm 100% sure that I'm on a 4-3 team. So that really falls to what style of d your lb is on.
