Thanks to everyone who's made playing in this group of teams so much fun since Season 17. Wish we could've held it together longer, but it's clear now that we've been fighting above our weight class for quite some time.

I'm not leaving GLB entirely, though, so I'll probably keep seeing some of you guys around in the future.

Well, when you've been around the blocks in Pro for awhile it loses it's luster. If it were my first run, I might see your point...but this will be the third WL run for MPHD and our 9th season there overall. And WL competition is just a hell of a lot more satisfying than Pro competition, once you have a taste of success there.

But perhaps more to the point....MPHD is currently sitting in SAPL awaiting the new recruits. So we will have at least 1 full season in Pro (hopefully we can win our way out with what will be level 74 dots by playoff time...not necessarily counting on it though).

Count me in as another that'll miss that god-awful avi, Novus.

Apatity is the same way, though we took it on the chin a little bit when one of our agents started going mostly inactive... his dots will be replaced over the next few seasons

Plus 1 to tomic, if unless you feel your builds are fully rounded and you have nothing else to do but go all out on SA's give it another go, all your losses are close except for the games no one else here can beat, cough RNG......

plus no reason to split up your players and make some teams we already have issues with better

Yep, LoDD has a couple of open spots too. If you want to win 3rd place in tournaments and have an early exit from the playoffs though I highly recommend Laos/Manchester.

Basically, I feel like I mis-handled the management of everyone's builds on my team, and thanks to an odd combination of inattention in some cases and bad advice in others, I helped screw up too many builds. Our scouting and gameplanning helped mask those problems for a while, but the gap has been widening over time, and it's only going to keep getting wider from here on out.

Our only decent win this season was our 17-2 victory over Black Sea, and it seems like every bad team in the conference this season has one out-of-nowhere win like that under their belt, so that doesn't necessarily mean much. Laos wasn't gameplanning at all when we played them due to real-life stuff for Tomcic... I gameplanned my ass off for that game, and we still lost by 4 to a team that didn't prep for us at all. RNG spanked us by 40, Legion spanked us by 45, Regensburg spanked us by 36, and the 3-9 Hawaii Phoenixes manged to SHUT US DOWN 22-7. And we're on-track to miss the playoffs for the second season in a row.

I just don't see how a turnaround is possible for us, unless I do some massive work on the roster and recruit my ass off. But I hate hate HATE recruiting... one of the reasons I assembled this team the way I did was to avoid recruiting as much as humanly possible. I don't want to recruit half a roster, and the sorts of top-level dots that we'd need to get to fix this team won't want to come play for a team that's coming off of back-to-back losing seasons with a half-gutted roster.

And no, I don't want to play in an easier tier. 16-0 in a lower tier just wouldn't mean much to me. Why bother?

I know when it's time to hang 'em up.

we have 5 agents total so we dnt have to worry about it

your still probably in the top 16 teams at our age level but if you get worse every year..

One of those agents needs to retire those dots for the future of the team. Retire and recruit Novus.... maybe he'll help out.

Seismos have replaced 1 player since the start, and that was my shitty failed attempt at a dual threat QB. Otherwise, we are intact.

LoDD turns over between 5-8 dots a season. I usually land the free agents I go after and have the benefit of the awesome dots VDA has brought over.

Really sorry to see Novus kill the Palooka's. Dude is a quality poster.
