Again, the number below the effective level is what you should have been concerning yourself with. It was common knowledge that effective level was virtually meaningless as it had been set based on player values from season 14 or something.

To add, how your player was/is performing against peers is what makes a dot "good" or not. Not some number on his profile. If you watch your dot and he sucks compared to his peers, then he's bad. If he's better than his peers, he's good. It's not that difficult of a concept.

Lastly, again I say that there are many good reasons to quit or rage. This is not one of them.

Might not be a good reason to rage or quit but it is a good reason to retire your crappy dots and start over under the new system but you can't really do that if they dump the news on you mid season

YOUR DOTS HAVENT CHANGED

Also, did the fact your dots were 2-3 levels above effective, while most others were 5+ not tell you they were not as good as the average dot?

If the effective level is so controversial why does it even exist?

it's not controversial. People are making a big deal out of it, when all that was done was bort finally updated the numbers to show the correct values compared to present day player rather than against players 10+ seasons ago.

YEa, and with Present day players getting 1 extra SP per boost, and all this other shit, Some older dots will see a dramatic change in EFF level

LOL. This thread has to go down as one of the greatest in GLB history. And I am 110% serious about that. This is gold.

Why don't you just go to suggestions and suggest that people just choose the build they want and they get it. Lets take all the thinking and strategy out of the game. Lets just hold everyone's hand the whole way.

If people are basing if their or others players were good by EL then they need to learn the game better. Pretty simple. Really simple, actually...incredibly simple. If you cannot understand this I recommend never playing an online game again...of any caliber.

You know older players got all those SP's for every boost they did, right? Yes you could debate that getting them end build isn't as beneficial at getting them earlier throughout the build process...but right now no dot has got a lot throughout the build process this point is mute.
