The old numbers were based off what players were at X number of seasons ago. Now everyone is "better" so the new numbers reflect where you really are compared to players of right now (Season 24).
Everyone complains when he doesn't update it, then he updates it and everyone complains their guys aren't as good as they thought.
It's possible he didn't sort the numbers correctly but more likely it is as i stated above.
It was rather silly that players who were level 60 were being listed as being effectively a level 75 don't you think?

Right. Nothing changes performance wise about your dot. He's still the same player he was before the changes. Effective level just becomes more accurate in comparing player value.

Right. Nothing changes performance wise about your dot. He's still the same player he was before the changes. Effective level just becomes more accurate in comparing player value.

I question how valid the effective levels really are. My guys were 8-10 levels above before, now they are twelve levels below. Yet they perform well in games. If their effective level is so low they should be rather useless and completely overmatched. Since that isn't the case, what am I supposed to glean from the effective level? Who are my guys being compared to that their effective level has plummeted? A change in effective level of 18-22 from one day to the next seems absurd. In reviewing the builds for some of my guys I'm thinking this whole effective level thing is bullshat.

I don't think my QB can go from a 51/64 to a 51/48 this seems like a huge drop. My QB has never been below the actual LVL.

no .... the age change and SP bonus' were supposed to have upgraded the older dots to compare to the new standards ...
