There's more to a conference than it's top 3-4 teams.

Does anyone have a stat for collective average ranking per conference?

And your argument fails complete. You can say you were better last season. One season in the previous 20. If we look at history we see that even if you have the occasional flair up, it is never sustained. As for having a brighter future in a better conference, you are leaving for that conference after a season which you will lose virtually all of your top players. Recruits like winners, and you will not be a winner in the SEC. You can barely compete for a Big 12 South championship, usually fighting Tech and OSU for third in the south. What makes you think you will fare any better in the SEC? You'll be fighting ole miss for 5th in the West if you go there. No recruits will want to play for you. The fact that you are going to the SEC will only prove that you can't compete consistently with top teams.

Y'all are 11-9 against against us the past 20 years.

You say we are losing all of our top players. Only 3 offensive starters are seniors, and only half of the defensive starters are.

You are right, recruits will never come here. We have a top 10 class lined up right now for 2012. Even if we just get the normal recruits we have been, Sherman coaches them up. Your sips have a roster full of 4 and 5 stars, and we saw how well they played last season.

If we are so sorry and such an easy win, you'd think your administration wouldn't be acting like a bunch of pussies by trying to drop the game with us. Then again, our programs are going in different directions, and it isn't like they haven't shied away from the more difficult road in the past....

"The University of Texas confirmed yesterday that it had opted not to make the Sept. 2 trip, citing several factors, including financial."

Really? Claiming they are poor and can't afford the flight to Hawaii?

Power rankings for 10-11:
Big East
Big 10
Big 12
ACC
PAC 10
SEC

Power rankings for 09-10:
Big 12
ACC
Big East
Big 10
SEC
Pac 10

Power rankings for 08-09:
Big 10
Big 12
Pac 10
Big East
ACC
SEC

Scoring 6 pts for 1st, 5 for second, etc, cumulatively we get:

Big 12 - 15
Big Ten - 14
Big East - 13
ACC - 10
Pac 10 - 7
SEC - 4

So, I guess overall the Big XII has been the best conference the past 3 years. Thanks for clearing that up for me

Actually, even without using your biased retard math, the Big 12 comes out on top. The simple average for each conference over 3 years is:

Big 12: 83.21
Big East: 83.10
ACC: 83.10
Big 10: 83.03

Pac 10: 80.60
SEC: 79.94

The top four are so close, however, I don't know if you can really say one is better than the other. Well, that and the Big 12 is spiraling into nothingness.

So what you are saying is the Big XII was the best basketball league the past 3 years by a number of metrics. Got it.

Here are some interesting facts about the sips constant chest thumping about our overall 37-75-5 record against them:
---------------------------------------
Key tu Conference Wins:

WWI 1914, 1916, 1918
WWII 1942, 1943, 1945
Kor 1950, 1952, 1953
Viet 1961, 1962, 1963, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975

Strong Tradition of Staying Home

19 of your 32 conference titles happened while America was fully mobilized in war.
-----------------------------------------
There are several times in our school's history where we could not field a capable team or a team at all because for several consecutive seasons our best males were off fighting in our nation's wars, as we were a vastly militaristic school. That is why we don't typically count our seasons until a certain year. While y'all were playing football, we were busy winning Medals of Honor and shooting Nazis, Communists, and other bad guys.
-----------------------------------------
Another reason for the lopsided W/L record is money. t.u. had it and used it to buy every player in the state before scholarship limits. Players became expendable tackling dummies for t.u. instead of going to other schools where they could have competed...all due to money.
-----------------------------------------
We played 21 times before the crybaby longhorns would actually travel to College Station for a game. The fact is that when the playing field has been level, more often than not the Aggies have been as good as the Longhorns in football.

The best argument you can make for your team is that over a 34 year period you have a tied head-to-head record with us. Tied. Not winning. A tied record. Over that time period UT also had a vastly better record overall and in winning championships. You were also caught cheating during that time period and were declared ineligible to play in bowls twice because you were cheating so bad. That is how pathetic aggies are. All they can claim for their benefit is a tied record over an arbitrary period.

By the way, if you want to make those arguments that we shouldn't count games where UT had an advantage, then you should throw out all of your games against schools with disadvantages, including all of the Big 12 schools not UT, OU, and Nebraska. You also have to throw out all of the success you had back then, so you've never won a national championship nor have you won a Heisman. Regardless of the argument you want to make, you suck.
