If that were true RNG, Bogota & Laos would have a lot more going on in the trophy case. Elite dots are nice but the teams that game plan better win when it matters. As BSS has shown over the past couple of seasons.

Well we know RNG hasn't really paid attention. As for the others if you are top 10 or even 15 you got a chance. Really not enough difference to say builds will dominate. To me only Steel Rain have proved to be the exception.

Then again a badly built low skill point value team can also win in the past. Unbalanced builds will lose to players with balance. With younger dots this is always true.

Right now though with the skill point additions and changes it has made a ton of unbalanced builds balanced. Usually this would happen closer to Pro. So effective becomes even more important.

If these numbers hold here are a few predictions.

Steel Rain will get 8th seed or miss the playoffs.

Manchester Titans will dominate in the West.

LoDD will get 4th seed at the highest.

Pitbullz should make the playoffs but i'm guessing a 9-7 record.

Pretty much the 1st-6th spots are already taken. 7thy and 8th are the only hard ones to predict.

And East will win the trophy. Think the Titans have a really good chance but other than that there isn't one team to bring a real game against the East.

That was kinda my point. Since neither Bogota nor RNG really change anything significant they aren't as scary as BSS or even Laos to a lesser extent despite having some pretty sweet dots.

Agree with most of your other points. I think it is going to be hard for BSS and LoDD to replicate their success in the past few seasons when they will be 20 SP behind all the teams that boosted in their first offseason because their dots won't hit the 25 boost limit until season 25. Still expect both teams to break some hearts both in the regular and post season but don't expect the domination those two have had to be as pronounced.

Manchester should do well in the West but I don't see them as capable of beating any of the top 6 teams in the East. Not sure about the Pitbullz making the playoffs as they are one of the least consistent teams out there.

If I had to pick the 8 teams to make the playoff in the East I'd go with (in no particular order)

Bogota
RNG
BSS
LoDD
Laos
Apatity
Steel Rain
Royals (the real ones) or Madrid

I'm thinking of taking the season off for this exact reason. No reason to try to gameplan my ass off all season just to try to make up 23 or more SP on the other top teams. We'll probably work just hard enough to make the playoffs, to make sure we don't get demoted, but that's probably about it.

My team did not boost early either so I am guessing we will be behind 20 SP as well.
