ya i helped a team do this in S7 but now its a bit different, especially with the decline of FAs, just not enough good dots out there that will sign with new teams. Best one always end up on top elite teams.

Yeah, when we did it I got lucky enough to sign a pair of high level STOPs who went on to force ridiculous amounts of fumbles and that carried us through. Had one of nfratami's dots on that team too. Really miss that dude, game is definitely less fun since he was perma'd.

i don't really remember him but i heard he was a pretty good dot builder and agent.

Nothin' like a few stops to make a huge difference.

We missed twice: season 18 & season 20. The sad part is that we've been "elite" in three of the four seasons since ABLs came into being (s20, s22, s23).

My bet is that our three booted out of Elite #1 are still better than the best 3 in lol Elite #2.

Elite 1 teams really beat each other up between seasons 20 and 21. imo

Yeah, that definitely wasn't the point. Was mostly directed at a less stupid promotion/demotion system.

Pretty sure no one is claiming that #2 was/is as tough of a league as #1 in the past 5 seasons. Despite that fact, teams from #1 have done better in the postseason across the board with the one exception being LoDD. If anything it sings volumes about how much better Richey, BSS & Palm Bay (the 3 teams that have always played in the toughest part of #1) are than the rest of the age group and how good Kansas City and Laos have been as the newcomers to #1.

Don't get me wrong, #2 has some quality teams, even a couple that demoted at one point or another but imo the most dominant 5 teams in the age group have been in #1 for the past 5 seasons.

Of course with a 2-4 playoff record over that span I am sure Kotoll has an inferiority complex that makes him jump at these shadows.

Laos has always done well against those teams even when not in the conference. like our first elite season we beat richey and BSS in the tourney (BSS got us back though last season ) just thought id point that out
