Are you starting to see why I made comments re: builds when you asked your agents to round out their builds and get certain attributes to the first cap before taking primaries to their end goals? Look at ReDisturbed, Darkness, Detroit, etc - the DWO teams build using the ALG's and caps and are clearly doing better than you - I would chalk this up as a lesson learned and try and learn more next time.

(Oh, and these teams won, despite being 1 or 2 attribute heavy - not rounded out)

Dragons are possibly an even better example. I high cap built my whole team and am jus about hanging in the playoffs spots in elite 1 despite being nearly 10 levels behind. High cap building with high primaries is the only way to get the top results in this game....that and multix4 training early on.

Exactly. They yield the best results both short and long term. I tried to tell that to Blue Max last season when I had a player or two on his squad and he asked us to start training vision and stamina to round out our builds, despite being in the very early stages of player development. I ended up leaving based on this disagreement in building philosophies, despite trying to show him the error of his ways.

It is so magnanimous of you to point out your superiority.

I'm sure that tactic works well IRL.

I don't normal feel the need to do so. Usually in real life, people listen to other people's opinions and judge them on the merit and weight of experience and production. You were completely blind to any way but your own.

And, for the record, using big words and quoting the Bible to make your points and manipulate users is about as cool as a hot day in Florida.

You are correct...it is not true.

If you are in polite conversation, it is usually rude to disparage opinions in an attempt to validate your own.
If an opinion has merit, it need not seek to diminish nor humiliate a contrary opinion nor the person speaking it.

Having heard many opinions from many people, I can attest to the value of each. I have learned something
from every speaker even if spoken rudely. Nonetheless, I appreciate the ideas of others greatly. I learn much from them.

Yes, I am a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am not ashamed to say so.
It would not be "cool" to do otherwise.

Proverbs 15:1-2 (New King James Version)

A soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.
The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly,
But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.

Well said! As a brother in Christ, a cool head in these arguements is always appreciated. I have learned to think...then re-think what I want to post before I do. And this is not to take a shot at anyone...truely. I've been the one to shoot my mouth off to soon in the past and have had to suffer the consequences.

I actually meant that for the most part I've found people in in general are very blinkered in life and fail to see others points of view, let alone take them on board or give them proper consideration. I know some people who would continue to argue black is white long after being proven incorrect simply because they cannot cope with being wrong.

Please note I am in no way attributing this behavior to anyone in this thread at all, I'm simply pointing out what I meant. Personally I think open discussions of varying points of view are great, after all everyone else is more than welcome to their incorrect points of view

I, too, am a Christian, and I, too, like so many others, have my flaws. However, I have always attempted to listen to what other's have to offer and been open to discussion. I am not the be all and end all of all dot builders, nor do I hang merit on my talents at GLB. However, the manner in which you demanded we alter our builds and ignored my attempts to illustrate another way of building that had a proven track record of success, and then when I asked to be released, respectfully and with a full half a season heads up so that you could start recruiting early and the team need not suffer, you decided to quote the Bible in an attempt to guilt me into staying...it is this I am referring to.

Forgive me if I am offside, but I have a particular distaste for those that quote the Bible to suit their needs and goals.

Praise the Lord then brother. I look forward to seeing you forever.

Last night I took the opportunity to revisit many of your words by pm and team forum.
It became evident that your passionate belief in the akinghorn method had led to a very
few words that perhaps caused you to be misunderstood by leadership.

Looking beyond those words (the few), I found many words that were more even handed
in their zealous lawyer-like expression of a very plausible building regime. I see your method
as an alternative that at the time seemed too long sighted. For that reason, it was not immediately
embraced but put on the side for future consideration.

That time has come oddly as MMW is out of the playoffs realistically..

Many agents failed to boost, failed to use skill points in a way that neither you nor I would deem prudent and
at times became absent from the game without notice nor good cause. These are the frustrations of the game.
Sometimes agents talk the talk then do not walk the walk.

You were never one of those agents. You have always been involved and your active defense of a plan that you
believe works well in most league and player settings.

I can tell you that as leadership considers season 23 policy in many areas trying to balance individual differences
that should be allowed and tolerated with team goals and winning. Some of your remarks touched on these concepts
and indicate a thoughtful agent who understands the need to balance individualism with team function.

Thank you for providing in our team forum your passionate proposals.

Leadership will be reviewing them as we strive to give season 23 guidelines for those above level 25.
We will try to promote as much liberty as possible while providing benchmarks that we may feel will
facilitate successful performance. There will be inherent to this guideline the recognition of more than
one path to success. We will discuss attributes, sa's, vet skills, equipment as well as individual tactics.

There is a dynamic between the variance of individual and team tactics that requires cooperation between
agents and team leadership to make it to the playoffs each season. Having done this in season 21 and
failed in season 22, we hope to correct course for season 23..

Thank you for providing your point of view...and as I promised then....it is being considered albeit later than
you might have believed prudent.

I believe that had you and I spoken in person that our communication might have been enhanced as your
sincere proposals might have been received better and that concerns we provided might have been likewise
better understood. I apologize for my failure to communicate better. Some of your remarks though not intended
to change some forum methods may do so in an effort to streamline and separate the essential from the merely
mundane or laughingly entertaining.

Thank you,, akinghorn.

Something extra as I leave for church...

Proverbs 2:1-6
New International Version (NIV)

Moral Benefits of Wisdom
1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding—
3 indeed, if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
