We're a few games on so I thought I might aswell do my rankings again and see what you guys think this time!

#1- Alpha Omega (8-0)- Now they are the only undefeated team in the league despite losing their game of the season, in a scrimmage against Motor City. In their last game they beat ReDisturbed 31-7 handing them their first loss of the season. Alpha also beat Motor City in a tournament game to prove they are worthy #1's!

#2- Darkness (7-1) - I can't really split the 7-1 teams in the West but i give Darkness the edge because they just beat Motor City 30-10 this week. I expect them to consume atleast a few more teams this season!

#3- Motor City Cats (7-1) - I've moved them down to 3rd because of their loss to Darkness but apart from that they have looked very good. They showed hey were a top team with their win over Alpha Omega in a scrimmage and they also fought off a good New Jersey opponent.

#4- Nerd Herd Gators (7-1) - They lost in week 1 and since then they have been very good. They have already beat Darkness and beat the Detroit Destroyers 58-3. I think week 1 was just a slip up and they will keep up their winning streak.

#5- MUSTANG NATION TOUCHY FILLIES (7-1) - They did only lose to Motor City by 2 points so I don't want to rank them to far behind Motor City. That is the only reason I have put them ahead of Detroit aswell as when they scrimmed Detroit they won 59-3 but I don't know how much we can read into that.

#6- Detroit Destroyers (7-1) - Like I said above, the only reason they are ranked below MUSTANG is because their only loss was by 55 instead of 2 points.

#7- ReDisturbed (7-1) - I feel like putting ReDistrubed here is a bit unfair but I think all the Western teams are about the same but I don't how ReDisturbed compare because they are facing completely different teams. But they are definetly 2nd best in the East right now.

#8- New Jersey Nightmares (4-4) - I'M SORRY, very very sorry! I do realise this is my own team but I don't care i think we should be here . I know most of you disagree but nevermind! In the last 2 games we gave Motor City a tough game and ended up losing 23-13 then this week we beat the Rocky Mountain Outlaws 30-10!

#9- LA Smackdown (6-2) - They look like a very solid team and they did very well against ReDisturbed, losing 10-3. They did lose to Swamps Ninjas but they did also beat the Nerd Herd Gators.

#10- Swamp Ninjas (6-2) - I really wasn't sure who to put here! I considered Port Moody, Rocky Mountain outlaws, Midnight Warriors and the Green Bay Wolverines. But I decided on the Ninjas because they have the best record and beat LA Smackdown 31-17.

personally i would have put all the 4-4 teams (Kansas City Casual Llama's, Green Bay Wolverines, Port Moody PAIN and the New Jersey Nightmares) in spots 7,8,9,10 ahead of any of the 6-2 and 5-3 teams in the league

Detroit challenges anyone to a death match LOL.

Also however wins the West should be your #1 ranked team hands down. Just saying.

NHG #1 .

No way on whoever wins the west, Alpha has proven they are the best team, no one in the west can beat them right now (except in a one time thing).

AO is the best team right now, period.

Of all the 7-1 teams in the west, AO has done this to them in scrimmages...

Darkness: AO beat them 58-3
Motor City: AO beat them 2 out of 3 scrimmage games, the one loss is their only loss in any game this whole season.
Nerd Herd: AO beat them 55-6.
Mustang Nation: AO beat them 32-24.
Destroit: AO beat them 17-10.

So tell me, no matter what happens in the west, please give a valid reason why any of these teams should be ranked above AO?

I agree with A/O is the clearly the most dominant team in the league....... but please stop with the scrimmage outcomes. I'm sure Ancient will attest, that the NHG he saw in the "Scrimmage" was a slightly different version than he's seen the past two seasons. Not saying we can beat them, but I'm sure it would be closer than 49 points. At least I think it would be anyway.
And regardless of record, when it comes playoff time, Detroit will be the top seed. You don't win 47 out of 48 games, and not be a top seed. They may lose another game or two, but when it's crunch time, they will be prepared. We beat them due to their coordinators going with basic tactics vs NHG, due to lack of time. I can promise you, their builds are as good as any dots at their level, and BS is one of the top HC's in GLB. I think LA is grossly underestimated too. With as much talent in this league, any team in the top 10 could beat the #1 seed on any given game day.

As example, here's AO vs Destroyers from last season in games that mattered.

Destroyers vs AO - 3/31/11
AO over Destroyers 31-28 in tournament matchup
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1640989

Destroyers vs AO - 4/25/11
Destroyers over AO 69-6 in the conference championship game
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1653216

In the end, it is those who learn and adapt that will win titles. We see it season after season, with upsets in the playoffs between teams who have played each other more than once.

Scrims are just another lesson to fine tune for the games that matter. A lot of scrims are vanilla gameplan vs vanilla gameplan to find strength and weaknesses. Then when the time comes...modify the gameplan to give the best odds of winning in the big matches.

Although AO does enjoy the lovely, false sense of security which scrim wins provide.

Well we tested something on defense and it completely backfired! Still GG LA and we will be going back to our normal defense.

the hidden meaning in this message is "I still think my 4-4 team is better them yours even tho you have a better record, beat better teams and have now beaten the Nightmares 2 times"
