Streaky - will be a flat 50% chance of a good day or bad day. For each point in the VA, you will get +.4% to all attributes if it's a good day and -.2% to all attributes if it's a bad day.
(+/-) 5% ability bonus/penalty gets reduced & a 25% reduction in probability for positive day. Can't see taking a risk on this one & the bonus reduction pretty much seals the deal as being taken off my preferred VA list.
Slow Starter - changing the additional time in the 3rd quarter from 1 minute per point in the VA to 30 seconds per point in the VA.
I can get on board with this one ... might reduce some of those extreme comeback victories that some have complained about
Big Heart - changing completely the way the VA works. It will now work as follows: Each level of Big Heart reduces all penalties to morale by 5% when trailing by 14 or more points. Big Heart remains active until the score is within 7 points. In addition, each level of Big Heart gives a +.5 morale refill to start the 4th quarter.
Takes away all ability modifiers and restricts it to a morale driven VA as it probably should have been. In combination with changes to Slow Starter, major comebacks advantages some teams have used to their advantage will be greatly reduced.
Second Wind - changing completely the way the VA works. It will now work as follows: Each level of Second Wind gives a +1 refill to energy to start the 4th quarter, regardless of stamina. In addition, each level gives a +.5 refill to energy when the score is within 7 at the 2 minute warning.
Restricted to 4th Qtr with loss of 2nd Qtr & Overtime affects. 10 second refill reduced by 9 seconds and additional levels reduced by 9.5 second = max refill of 8.5 seconds of additional bench time vice old max of 150 seconds. (If I calculated the change correctly). I can see this one also adding to the comeback nerf that seems to be taking place.
Effective season 24, AEQ will go from a +2% increase per upgrade to +1% increase per upgrade. Users will have the opportunity in that off season up until the end of that pre-season to sell any +% AEQ pieces for a full bonus token refund (including purchase price).
My question on this is with the reduction in increase for (+XX%) pieces is ... will the 2nd piece of identical AE still only be worth 1/2 its value?
