It was accurate AT THAT TIME. We just got 1 guy boosted, went 5 points up EL. So it's not accurate now.

I call bullshit. Or are you trying to tell us when 10 more of your players boost, it is going to go up 50 points?

They are pretty accurate, even if your guys were to boost my understanding is that effective level is calculated this way:

1. It only takes into account the sp value of the top 1/2 of the team, so a team that has a larger discrepancy in player quality is going to show an artificially inflated number
2. It can be manipulated by having a few extra STOPs from high ALG positions or a K or P can really skew the numbers
3. The less players you have, the less that go into the EL calculation. (If you have 55 players it is the highest 28, if you have 44 players it is the highest 22)

Let me just say this, no matter what these numbers say Detroit is #1, we won Competitive #1 last season and until someone else wins the title in Competitive #1 you can all argue who is #2.

Personally, I think it's anyone's league with only 20 points separating #1 to #16. Pretty balanced.

Should be some really good games this season.

This.....and there s more than one competitive league champion here and many more teams that could have taken it, so ease up on the testosterone boys...It hasn t even started....

And....some competitive runner-ups have got better rosters than last season!
