Then why did some of the East teams that were supposed to be some of the BEST teams in the entire league get bitch slapped out of the playoffs early?...

I wont deny that the 5-8 seeds in the East seem a little better than the 5-8 seeds of the West, but to proclaim the 1-4 seeds of the West as no better than the 5-8 seeds of the East is arrogant and ignorant. I simply enjoyed the upsets as I like when big egos get knocked down a notch...

Top six in east are better then all in west.

Frogtown would love another crack at the best the East has to offer. We played LSP closer than anyone in the East did this season when we played them in the tournament. East was definitely much deeper but next season will bear out exactly how much better than top couple of teams in each conference were when they are merged.

GG Great Songs & GL Moon Breakers. No matter who wins the West the East is going to have a tough matchup in the LCG.

TLS plays toothbrush in scrim since both lost round 1 http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1650611
And all tactics from both teams on O and D I imagine were same from POs. Just shows how weak the west is. Just like preseason did and week 1 this season.

Are you kidding me? Your saying the whole reason the West is weaker is because of a game like this? That's retarded. Plus no one tries in pre-season, so I don't even bother to count it.

But if you want examples of why the top teams in the West can hang with the top teams in the East, here goes...

Half Moon beat Mayan Prophecy twice, once in the regular season and ones in a scrimmage. Texas did the same twice and the Pelicans once, both in a similar manor. But the Mayan Prophecy did beat other so called top 10 teams like the Halos & Village Dogs.

Half Moon(twice) and Czech beat the Psycho Ward Lunatics, who in turn beat Osaka Storm & Village Dogs.

Half Moon beat the Frogtown Posse by 1 point, but that's also how much the Pelicans beat them by as well.

The Frogtown Posse beat the Tradewest Battletoads by 24, but the Pelicans only beat them by 3.

The Frogtown Posse beat Blood Bath and Beyond , but the Pelicans lost to them.

I could go on, but you get the point. I never said the top teams in the West were BETTER than the top Easr teams, but they are just as good. But I will say that the mid-level teams in the East do seem better than the mid-level teams in the West.

I'll openly admit the East teams remaining are built way better than my Half Moon squad. We started off as a pee-wee team competitively competing in Pee Wee Gold with builds built for one and done seasons. Afterward I thought what the hell, I bet I could grab a trophy at the next level and Gerr hopped on board in our first non pee wee season to take over the DC role cause he's a hundred times better at DCing then me and he felt like trying his hand at something outside of PW. From that point on we just picked up players and agents along the way as other guys decided to retire their players. We thought we'd fizzle out a long time ago but I always said I'd keep the team going as long as we kept doing well. While other guys have players that have been strategically building since Day 1 I've simply given a little direction to my squad and some followed it, some didn't. We've gotten by on agents gutting it out with us and some damn fine coordinating, simple as that.

Using East vs. East games to prove your point is incorrect logic. Besides, I use scrims to test out AI and progressions (ranked or not). I think Frogtown is better than us, but using a scrim where I tested AI against a team that is ROLLING the lolwest to say that LSP isn't as good as advertised? Wha?

If you replace the bottom two teams in the east with Frogtown and Half Moon, then all 16 teams in the west would be better than all 16 in the east. Well, maybe not that extreme, but it'd be pretty close.

#3 and #4 in the east would be fringe playoff teams in the west methinks. Not a knock on those teams, but that's how good the east is.

LSP is the real deal btw. Didn't mean any disrespect towards them, I would rate them as the best team at this level. I just don't think Frogtown is hopelessly behind them, I feel like we could give them a run for their money. Same goes for the other top teams in the East. The East is deep as all hell and we are looking forward to testing ourselves against the best of the best next season when the playoff teams from both conferences are merged. I agree that the fringe playoff teams in the West would not crack the playoffs in East.

you mean before Mayan switched coordinators and started caring you beat them twice? cool story bro but your conference still is a joke......they have a few teams that would have barely made the playoffs but seeds 5-16 in the West would be lucky to manage 2 wins combined in the East

and as for the top 4 in the West.......... well none of them would be home playoff teams in the East
