The Horseman jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead heading into the locker room at halftime, but then the Battletoads woke up and scored 27 unanswered 2nd half points, with 24 of them coming in the 4th quarter.A Huge 79 yard punt return by Tea Gaggins changed the game and ended the Horseman's dream of an upset. Tradewest was led on offense by Rash Shar who rushed 72 yards and a TD. On defense, Ryu Hayabusa harassed the Horseman 11 tackles and 11 sacks. The #5 Toads will face the Bali Insurrection(3-3) on Wednesday.
#6 Half Moon Bay Breakers(6-0)-The Half Moon Bay Breakers roll over the VTech Hokies(1-5), 27-13. This was another close first half, with the Breakers heading into the locker room with a slim 13-7 lead. In the 2nd half the Hokies closed the gap to 10-13 early in the 3rd quarter, but then back to back touchdowns late in the 3rd and early in the 4th quarter broke the Hokies back once and for all. The Breakers were led on offense by Karsten Grant Jr who finished with 102 total yards. On defense, Ryan Mundy closed with 6 tackles, and 2 TFL's. #6 Half Moon will host the Helsinki Coyotes (4-2) in a big western conference game on Wednesday.
#7 Osaka Storm(4-2)-The Osaka Storm fall a couple of spots after losing to the #3 Doinitin Djibouti(5-1), 30-10. This was another game that was never really in doubt, as Doinitin took a 10-3 lead into the half, and expanded that lead to 24-3 at the start of the 4th quarter, holding Osaka to only 128 total yards and never allowing them into this game. The highlight of this game for Osaka was the play of Osaka Pete who finished with 7 tackles, and an interception returned to the house. Osaka will try and rebound on Wednesday when they face #2 Texas Lone Stars in another battle of top 10 teams.
#8-L.A. Halos(4-2)-The Halos drop down to the #8 slot after they come up short against the Mayan Prophecy 2012(2-4), 24-20. A big interception by Kukulcan set the tone early for the Prophecy and they converted to take an early lead. The Prophecy were out-gained by 165 yards in this game, but they converted when it counted and had some nice returns.The Mayan defense really stuck it to the Halos not allowing them to put together any effective drives and keeping them backed up in their own territory. The Prophecy were led on offense by Drunk Eli who finished 12/26 125 yards and 2 TD's. On defense, Nero ~ had an all-around game closing with 6 tackles, 1 sack, 2 KL's, and 2 PD's. The Halos will try and rebound on Wednesday when they face the Canucklehead Brigade(1-5), a team that is much better than their record indicates.

This was never a contest as Czech tackes a 41-7 lead into halftime and then added another 34 second half points. Czech Yourself was led on offense by Josey Wales who caught 10 balls for 213 yards and 2 TD.s On Defense, Jarlaxle Baenre™ compiled 4 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 PD's. #9 Czech Yourself has an easy one coming up on Wednesday when they face the Stockholm Dynamites(2-4).
#10 Algoma Blames Stu(3-3)-Algoma jumps into the #10 hole after edging Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience(2-4), 17-16. This was the best game of the day, as Cheers had complete control of this game until the 4th quarter. Cheers took a 13-0 lead into halftime and they were feeling pretty good. Algoma closed the gap to 13-7 in the 3rd quarter when Stylish Champion took a 4 yard run into the end zone. Early in the 4th quarter Algoma went up 14-13 when they put together a nice 8 minute drive capped by Tommy Boren 4 yard run. With a 1:18 left in the game, Cheers wasn't finished as they retook the lead with a 45 yard FG by Rob Hart giving them a 16-14 lead. With Algoma on life-support, a big-time pass from Jake Herbstreit to Greg "Blame Stu" Jennings for 38 yards with :50 seconds to go set up the game-winner for Blame Stu I'm Clutch who booted a 28 yard FG with :40 seconds to go to win it.
