#1-Louisiana Screaming Pelicans(5-0)-Louisiana has no problem getting past the #7 Tradewest Battletoads(4-1), 37-3 with a series of big plays and shutdown defense. The Pelicans didn't waste anytime when late in the first quarter -=Champ=- Drew Brees connected with -=Champ=- Robert Meachum on 80 yard touchdown screen. They would connect again midway through through the 4th quarter on a 79 yard TD pass. -=Champ=- Robert Meachum had a big game finishing with 3 catches for 194 yards and 2 TD's. #1 Louisiana will host the Stuttgart Blitzkrieg(2-3) on Monday.
#2 Texas Lone Stars(5-0)-The Lone Stars remain undefeated but they had a tough game against the Canucklehead Brigade(1-3), outlasting them 16-6. Texas went into halftime with a 6-0 lead, and both teams had issues moving the ball in this game but late in the 3rd quarter the Lone Stars went up by two scores when Power Back Jr dove into the end zone for a touchdown, made possible by a 42 yard run by Whodey just ran by you!. That effectively ended the Brigades dream of a comeback. Texas will try and protect their #2 ranking when they travel to face #10 World Legends(3-2) on Monday.
#3-L.A. Halos(4-1)-The Halos had a tough battle on their hands against the #7 Bali Insurrection(3-2) but come out on top 17-3 in a brutal struggle. Neither team allowed the other to run the ball with only 64 rushing yards combined for both teams, so the Halos ended up relying on their passing game. They took a 7-3 lead into halftime, and it wasn't until 1:44 minutes left to go in the game before the Halos could put the Insurrection away for good, after a End Zone Freak 10 yard TD pass to Billy Blues Shoes Johnson. The #3 Halo travel on Monday to face the Mayan Prophecy 2012(1-4).
#4-Doinitin Djibouti(4-1)-The Djibouti are another top 10 team involved in a battle, but the Legends come on top against Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience(2-3), 37-20. Doinitin got busy early scoring the games first 17 points, and heading into the locker room with a comfortable 17-3 lead. Early in the 3rd quarter the Djibouti added to the lead when Two Hearted Ale took a pitch 64 yards down the field, that Hop Devil capped with a 6.5 yard TD run a couple plays later. Up 24-3, Cheers had a few tricks left in the bag and scored 14 points in little over a minute made possible by a Mr Woody interception and a 44 yard touchdown run by - Twinkle Toes - .It wasn't until late in the 4th quarter that the Djibouti put Cheers away for good after some time consuming drives. Doinitin has another battle coming up when they host #6 Osaka Storm(4-1) on Monday in a battle of top 10 teams.
#5 Village Dogs(4-1)-The Village Dogs shut out the FOUR HORSEMEN(0-4), 30-0 in dominant fashion. The Village Dogs chewed up the clock in this game methodically putting up points and ended up holding on to the ball for more than 41 minutes. The Dog defense limited the Horseman to only 122 total yards and this was never a contest. Snoop Johnson had a nice game racking up 6 catches for 71 yards. The #5 Village Dogs will travel to face a strong Bali Insurrection(3-2) team that gave the Halos some trouble today.
#6 Osaka Storm(4-1)-The Osaka Storm move up to the #6 slot after beating the World Legends(3-2), 30-23. This was a back-and-forth game early, but the game changed for good when the Storm went on an interception frenzy picking off five balls from five different players, and returning 3 of them for touchdowns. But even with all those picks, the Legends had their chances, and actually out gained Osaka by 2-1, but it was too little too late. The Storm are the biggest movers in the poll, and their ranking will be tested when they travel to face #4 Doinitin Djibouti(4-1) in a battle of top 10 teams.

Zeus was the lone bright spot as he finished with 10 catches for 69 yards. The #7 Battletoads will try and rebound on Monday when they travel to face the FOUR HORSEMEN(0-5)
#8 Half Moon Bay Breakers(5-0)-The Half Moon Bay Breakers maintain the #8 slot after coming back to beat The Frogtown Posse(3-1), 21-20. The Posse controlled this game early dominating the Breakers in the first half 17-0, but Half Moon came out a different team at halftime, and closed the gap to 20-7 to start the 4th quarter. With more than 12 minutes to go, Steve Young connected with Ty McFly on a 63 yard touchdown pass that got them within 6. Later in the quarter the Breakers put together a drive capped by a Pig N Jig touchdown plunge to give them the come from behind victory. The Breaker was just too much in the second half. The Breakers will face VTech Hokies(1-4) on Monday.

The Insurrection shut down the Halo running game and forced them into the air to get their yards, but a couple of End Zone Freak touchdown passes and a big play sealed the deal in this match-up. It doesn't get any easier because #9 Bali Insurrection travel to face the #5 Village Dogs(4-1) on Monday.
#10 World Legends(3-2)-The Legends fall to the #10 slot after getting wtf'd by #6 Osaka Storm(4-1), 30-23. The Legends opened the game on their first drive rolling down the field for a touchdown, capped by a 7 yard TD pass by Otto von Bismarck to Teh Magnum, but then the wheels came off, and Otto von Bismarck entered the Twilight Zone going on to throw 5 interceptions, with 3 of them being returned to the house. It was just too much for one team to bear. The Legends did out gain the Storm, but they will have to try and forget about this loss, because they face the #2 and undefeated Texas Lone Stars(5-0) on Monday.
