What is most effective for forcing fumbles Hard Hitting SAs like Monster Hit or high-strength Lbs...Also what tackling style gives the best results?

Strength is the best attribute for forcing fumbles. I had a ton of equipment in strength last year in a AA league and forced 5 fumbles. This year, I've taken all my equipment off of STR and I have only around 38 STR in a AAA league. The higher the league the harder it is to cause fumbles.

Personally, I've had the most success with Balanced due to the fact that if I go for a harder hit, I always seem to miss tackles even with some really good attributes.

I only have 3 points into Monster Hit and I haven't had ANY results from it yet. Yes, it takes about 5 in a Special Ability to start being effective, but in two years at 3 in MH, I haven't experienced any results.

So my best advice to you, is pump up strength and set your tackle focus to balanced. What league are you in anyways? That makes a BIG difference due to the competition and RBs you are lighting up.

If you get close to 40 STR, you should probably be forcing some fumbles.

Wow that's really odd. I don't know what the problem is there. I was forcing fumbles like crazy last year with a lot of strength.

Yeah... Forcing Fumbles is really odd. My LB has 31 str, 38 tackling, 4-4-3-2 in SA and has never forced a fumble, set on balanced. My CB, who had about 14 str at the time and 16 tackling, set to wrap up(He's a return man/4th string CB) forced a fumble earlier this season.
Also, my linebacker has an interception and the CB has none... but that may just be a playtime thing, which makes the fumble even more impressive.

Last year I led my league in forced fumbles (8) and each one was achieved whilst on the tackling setting 'Wrap Up' so the tackling focus doesn't seem to matter that much. However, I've had none this year so far (Been on Wrap Up every game)

My linebackers Strength is in the low 30's and his Tackling is low 40's

Last season I was always set on wrap-up and I had only about 30 strength, but I caused 4 fumbles. I have 50 strength now, no fumbles. Strange.

I have higher stats in strength, tackling and mh than the other two starting LBs on my team, yet they both have more FF's than me (I have 0 this season, 5 last season). I've set my guy on power tackle twice only to result in mistackles :/

Yea, I don't know man.. It's weird. Plus, RBs have better carrying this year than last year. So.. I mean. This is all generated randomly. I would just keep playing on balanced and work on making the tackle first.

Man, that makes no sense whatsoever... it frustrates me cause I have no forced fumbles for the season and have 6 in Monster Hit. Its discouraging to put points into it anymore maybe I should work on Defense General some more.

Forcing fumbles probably has a lot to do with momentum.

High strength / speed and maybe even vision to lock onto a player from further away all likely improve the odds of forcing fumbles. If it were pure strength, then HBs running inside on 70 strength DTs would be fumbling balls left and right, but that's hardly the case. Speed has to be a part of the equation.
