Idk, maybe something like how the DPC is underpowered if anything? It was limited in the offseason because of exploit LB blitzes...saying that its overpowered is the stupidest thing on the forums today...

it's op as long as i can't create a custom offensive play, especially when none of the current plays address certain issues and they dont' run certain routes, only makes sense to either make defensive plays and offensive plays and no custom or to either make custom defense and be able to make a custom offense

there's nothing underpowered about being able to line all of your guys up in the position you want them to be in...

all hail you! you lost to a 20 man team by 60! youre obviously right....

a) if its overpowered then hold a team to a decent amount of points
b) how can anything be overpowered when you can throw the ball up to the HB every time and you will have a guaranteed 1st down
c) why am i here?

I'm not entirely sure what he means....but this is what I did

I used CPU players on special teams to give my normal players half a chance...but seeing as we scored evenly throughout the game it was pretty pointless. I didn't use any cpu's on defence unless I added a couple of CB's but I don't remember for sure. Think I used a CPU FB and I definitely used CPU K/P for the games with non IM teams as well.

Still doesn't make up for the fact you had 40 human players, with an average level 2-3 levels above us.

And don't worry Joe, I never fielded a single cpu player against any Iron Man opponents

if you didn't notice, effective levels of our teams were the same, that's what happens when you create players on day -1 and have no time to train them before the season begins, thus why we boosted.. cause we knew that would happen eventually, regardless of "20 man team vs 40 man team" longer time to train = better builds.

15 extra SPs> 10 days of training

40 boosted players>20 non boosted Iron Man players

First off I just wanna say GG to iron man. They kicked our ass... To the scrimmage to the muffin paper company... thats how we roll!!!! I cant really complain about this season.. Im still grasping the concept of these "Iron man" teams but whatever. This was our first year back in seven or so seasons and we made it to the conference championship... not to shabby!! We will be back next year and we will not play your iron man way. Its football and we play to win. Either way it goes you will find an excuse to why we win or lose and still hate.. So fyi yall have another whole year to appreciate!!!!

GG to you too but sadly we wont be here next season since we are going to play the IML as an underground league and so what league we are in wont matter. I will however enjoy looking in on you guys to see how badly you lose against real teams!

3 Levels of boosting is far better than an extra 10 days of training. Boosting gives you not only 15SP's but 2-3 levels of ALG's that total another 9-10 sp's. So 2 levels gives you a bonus of around 25 sp's. 10 days training, at best maybe gives you 6-7 sp's and thats assuming you train skills that are around 10, if you train your major at 25 its only going to give you maybe 3-4 points.

So if you were a competant builder you would be a good 20 SP's ahead of us.

I would also like to point out that not a single one of my players was built on day 40. Most were built around day 44 or 45 and some got restarted, a few were as late as after rollover...giveing us only a few days extra training on you.

You boasted about game planning and how good you were and you got shot down by a team that no matter how you look at it and how many excuses you make should not have ever been able to contend with yours.

I do however finally have something to appreciate you for.....beating you guys was the most amusing game I've seen in a long time in GLB!

First your av SP value is approx. 288. Mine is approx. 282, I know they are big numbers but I'm pretty sure even you could tell me which one is the bigger....

Why are we so close? Better training/bonus token use probably, 1st capping multiple skills instead of going for higher caps for 1 skill all season, deliberately training up low skills instead of concentrating on maximising 1 or 2. All of the above?

I don't know, how does my League Underground team have sometimes more than 10 SP average better than other LU teams that were built on the same day, have played the same games and have the same players.....its all about how you work the system. Hell I still know I made mistakes this season that cost me SP's in training and most of my guys finished on 9 or 10 bonus tokens which is just a pointless waste.

I guess if you think 282 is bigger than 288 your chances of working out the best training regime is pretty low.
