Well they never claimed to be a not-for-profit organization like the Red Cross...they are a business after all...GLB would fold tomorrow if they were not about making money.

I would say they are more into winning now (maybe) rather than later!! When they find they can't compete down the road when builds start to mature, they'll fold and start over again and go after another Rookie Gold! If that's the way they want to play it so be it, they'll never know what it takes to actually compete at high level in this game. For what it's worth, I like the age based leagues. It puts all teams on an equal playing level. It comes down to superior builds (within the same timetable) and game planning.

why are people boosting now? i almost wish they would only allow boosting at the start of the playoffs.....this just ruins it for other people who dont have intention of retiring our players after this season...

so rule would be if you are less than level 22 you cant boost until you hit the playoffs....

How would it not make Bort money?? They still would only have three boosts per season.

Those teams are doing nothing but getting themselves home field advantage for the playoffs so they can get their asses kicked on their home field. No big deal!!!!

You can also look at the team and owners trophy case, that will tell you why they're trying it.

I'm interested to see how this is going to affect the teams that have everything from Lvl 1 to Lvl 7 players on their team right now. This is good though. Now I can do a comparison and see how long it takes the lesser boosting players to surpass the current Lvl 7's.

A lvl 1 will never be as good as a lvl 4. It's all about the money. If you wanna have the best player you would have had to boost to lvl 4 before the season and your next 3 boost before next playoffs.
