How'd you win the Championship and get placed in comprehended while we sucked against you and lost in the first round to be placed in elites?

I am not sure. I was thinking maybe it prioritized regular season ranking and record, where we were only fourth and had lost 3 regular season games. But I see that Belfast Knights who won their conference and only lost one are also in our league. Maybe it has to do with the Effective Levels too?

Found out from support that because all the player on our roster were at the top of the age range (279 days) we got placed higher... I'm guessing you had some "youngens" on your team that lowered your average age, thus placing you at a "lower" league.
Hehe... regardless of league, you'll be a tough team to contend with this year! Just glad we had our chance to be "better" than you before!

sorting makes little sense, as usual, if you ask me... we have "youngens" on our team as well -- actually 3/4ths of the team is 249d age... yet we are in elite?? while belfast, who beat us, and Punxsutawney, who woulda killed us, are in "competitive"?? fwiw, our effective level is 27th of 32... and yes, below those 2 aforementioned teams as well...
matter of fact, i think there are SEVENTEEN teams in "competitive 2" that have higher average eff. levels than we do...

Hahaha. We do have active agents but in the past I have kept them locked up in the team training room. Hard to keep them locked up after they won.
The sorting this season was a bit whacked, no doubt. I read something on main GLB forum and it sounded like the main factor after age was Total Effective Level. So, I think teams that lost players and didn't have full rosters may have gotten placed lower than they should have. Like we had 15 guys or so who were too young or too old and their contracts ended Day 40 so I think the sorting program looked at our total EFL and thought we were worse than we are. I am sure that happened to others.
It will all sort itself out after S20 though as people will move up or down based on performance from now on. In the long run I think this is better.
