the arguments against this are clear:

1) this isn't need as the option already exists. you can PM your tactics settings to the GMs, you can post your tactics settings in the forum, you can even put them in the "Custom Player Notes" section on your players homepage.
2) it is a slippery slope. what begins as an "option" quickly becomes an expectation
3) most significantly, this is about ownership and cash. agents pay real cash to own dots. part of owning a dot is the right to set and control tactics for that dot whether or not the team GMs agree. this is where it is different from real life. in real life the team owner pays the players to play. in GLB the agents pay to play their players. this is why the suggestion is a bad idea and why, since GLB knows where their revenues come from (dot owners buying and boosting dots 90%, team owners buying and renewing teams 10%), this will never be implemented.

so this is a waste of time and energy and vitriol for all of you who keep trying to resurrect this. let it die.

Just answer me why you wouldn't want your Coach to see your Tactics and do you think the "Dot Builder's" you keep talking about would really go through the trouble of posting there dots tactics on the Note Section or PMing them to Coaches, Specially the ones with alot of Player's? Besides, most Agents build the Dots for the Owners to begin with so to say Dot Builders run things is kindda silly. I think it would be a burden lifted for the Agents with alot of Dots to let the Coaches see there Tactics if they want to so they make sure things are set correctly. It's very easy to overlook something when you have alot of Players. I can't express enough how wrong you are on this Fogie and one other thing, I noticed you aren't a Coach so sure... you don't see the need. Coach 2 or 3 Teams in Reg. Pro or higher and then come back with your lame argument!!

You guys don't get it do you, lol? The Owners and Coaches want to WIN!!! If they have to eat shit with some Agents and not see there Tactics, So be it, But it would really help out the Agents that aren't little cry babies if they want to take the time restraints off there Coaches and just let them see them for themselves instead of sending all these PMs and Posting in the Forums. The Coaches have enough to do already!!

All I know is this. As it is now, if a Coach or owner thinks a dot builder isn't setting his options according to the "plan", then you chance engendering hostility between the two. And there is NO current way for a coach to actually SEE the truth. I have had coaches ask me over and over if I've set my tactics correctly. I can reply to them until my fingers hurt with lots of flowery speech of how my dots are set... but they can ONLY take my word for it.
Having this as an option, at the very least, allows me to SHOW them I have set as required to. That, in turn, allows them to KNOW if the tactics are working as intended... or if they think I should change something because what I have ISN'T working. Not everyone will choose to use the option... and that's fine. It changes nothing from what we already have in place... which is the same "mistrust" that directions are NOT being followed. We have that now... this, at the very least, helps tone some of that down... which is good for the game.
As for Sehorn's last post, we all wanna win dude... dot builders and team owners and coaches. I do agree it can help tone down a few extra PM's and Alerts that won't be needed. But, most of all, it will give an OPTION to a bridge of trust (between teams and dot agents) which currently does not exist.
