the "against" is a more significant measurement than the "for."

if you check out the history of suggestions, you'll find that 460 "against" is a fairly significant number and this suggestion is among the top 20% of the most opposed of all suggestions ever.

only 4 suggestions have been implemented with so many people in opposition; two deal with plateau dots, one to consider players made on day 40/41+ the same, and one to create team flex banks.

None of those are as controversial as this as they don't threaten the rights of the paying dot builders

No Coaches = Less Paying Dot Builder's!!

This and the "at least" 30 VA Reset is all I've really been wanting and with the new League structure....Teams are having to Game Plan more even in Reg. Pro, If something doesn't give, GLB is going to see a vast # of Teams that can't find Coaches. As I said, Less Coaches = Less Paying Dot Builders

Thing is, I'm willing to bet many of those against this idea are against it being hard-wired rather than an option for. I would be against it too if it was the rule, rather than an ability to have it available. I consider it as an "option only" and, as such, it has benefits. Take someone who owns not only the team but all the dots on it. being able to have this option would let him check ONE TIME, on one page, what his tactics are all set to. He would still have to go to each player and individually set it's tactics, but he wouldn't have to go back to each one just to check if they're right. For the more usual system of team owners and individual players' dots... it would be an option. Would some team owners hold it against a agent if he didn't share? Yeah... it probably will happen... but no more than already exists with the current setup when a coach BELIEVES the agent isn't setting his tactics as the coach would like. And what about newer coaches learning the game? Having a good agents' tactics to look at and how effective that setting is, helps the coach learn more and without posting "Anybody know how I should ask to have tactics set?"
I could go on, but the bottom line is, if it's simply an option, it has benefits for some while allowing those who choose not to use it the freedom to do so. Not everyone will use it. But not having it available will simply cause those that DO want it to continue to bring it up in suggestions. And enough people want it that, as long as it's optional, will neither hurt not complicate the game any more than what already exists.

1. thats what the Quick Tactics page does 2. changing the system for everyone to benefit the small number of teams where the team owner owns 55 dots is not a very compelling argument of the benefits of this suggestion

THIS!!

I had PM'ed an agent 3 times asking him to double check his CB tactics because the replays just looked like he was giving up a huge cushion. He said multiple times it was set to the way I wanted it. I sent him about a dozen replays showing how far off his CB was playing versus all the other CB's on the team and he finally conceded that he "thought he had it set right" but moved the slider bar to wrong side of the scale

As an OC/DC.....I want to see tactics with my own eyes

AMEN, Coaches are already dropping like flies and it's so complicated to build a good AI for new user's wanting to become a Coach, The aggravation with having to work on Tactics with everyone will just promote Coaches Resigning. Remember with the new League Structure, Team's have to Game Plan more as it is and when they have to send all the PM's about the Tactics, It will drive them to quit. (I'm speaking from experience). I Post Default Player Tactics in the Team Forum (Gave up on posting Tactic changes per Game) and maybe 3-4 Agents will even let you know they are Set. With the drop-off of Player's, You can't really afford to just Release them because of that. It would just be better for this Game if they would implement this one small thing.

No. I just know plenty of people have voted without actually taking time to investigate the thread. Some vote on the title alone and never read inside. It's probably why there was a suggestion not too long ago suggesting that we be allowed to change our votes (which, of course, we already can... further proving my point that not everyone reads all this stuff before posting/voting.) I would be willing to bet that 10% of all votes cast were cast by peeps that really didn't do due diligence on the suggestion. Hell... I might be one of them!

solution: pay the flex to build 55 dots... until then, hands (and eyes) off what other people pay for

Its just an option. You don't have to share. Its no different than your attribute sharing option. I would think you would care more about sharing your build than your stupid tactics
