Valid = Fix the sim coding not the DPC

In most cases this is absolutely correct. The blocking assignments are scripted, and just limiting movement or getting rid of the DPC won't do anything - they'll still need to fix the scripting.
supposedly limiting movement will help Bort fix the scripting though....we'll see.

You would think a blocking scheme that bases blocking assignments based on where the defensive dots are lined up and not what position they are would be a better way to fix this.

It is as you say. Bort elaborated a bit on blocking and how the Dot selects who to block in one of his Q&As. The problem with some dots coming through clean and/or too fast have many reasons. Too many to start listing, but easy to fix if only one can get past the thought everything else is the problem and look at to their choices in gaming instead. Although, sometimes the answer is levels. If the D has a level edge it just might not matter what you do if all other things are equal. Hopefully that issue goes away season 20.

OK, we're moving forward with this change. We'll be starting to test it soon on the test server. When we do, there will be a thread discussing it in Test Server Discussions.
