I don't want to turn this into a personal's ad but it's cool to me that there are other people that are similar to me. Non-teenager (30's), Engineer (electrical), lacrosse player (played in Worlds this past summer), and definitely not a jock or nerd....although probably more nerd than jock.

Unlike the tweens and teens, I like GLB for the parallels it has with real football and prefer to keep things real. While it's tempting to use the online world to step out of oneself, like you I figure if you are confident and happy with your real life, there is no need to manufacture a fake one.



And I'm looking forward to TIA's dominance in this league. I see no real threats at this stage, so unless a bunch of teams go CPU and Thunder stirs up another 'lolcopper trophy rush' near the end of the season, it probably won't be a very interesting run.

Post in this thread if you have a driver's license and your username isn't LE, Gerr, Vrecksler, or Juice. Yeah, that should end this thread.

I heard he got his message board back up, some of the old guys are still there, Cyclone, Clinton Esquire etc. I checked it out and it was kind of lame. 2 forums but its a start I guess. I havent played leagues there in ages though, been at MFL

Have a work league there still that will probably move next season. It was a keeper but they voted it to redraft so now we're just paying him for a trophy, a bad interface, and a fucked up stat provider.

I'd imagine most of the forum will just be trolling and porn links or completely dead by week 12.
