First of all I want to say it takes a real team player to make a FB...we get no glory whatsoever!

Anyways, my FB has always been a great blocker, but has been struggling this season for some reason. It seems like he get through the hole, then doesn't know what to do after that like he can't make up his mind quick enough. Some examples:

My vision is decent (in the 30s), and hasn't been a problem in the past. This really only started happening this season.

I'm thinking it may have something to do with my confidence (since I've never really touched my conf. It's 14.something)

I just want to know if anybody else has had this problem, and what they did to fix it. Our RBs could be breaking off an extra 3 yds or so every one of these plays, and it is killing some of our drives.

Anybody have any ideas?

Yea it still happens from time to time, I would daily train Confidence to 20 and look for any changes.

My FB did that a lot more last season, not so much this season....so far

What is your blocking up to?

44 blocking. I also have lead block at 3.

I guess I have kinda been neglecting this for awhile. I got it pretty high really fast, then sorta rounded out my FB in other areas, and haven't touched it since.

Looks like the infamous 'FB goes nuts' bug. Unlikely it has anything to do with your build.

Maybe he has misgivings about blocking for Lucifer.

Okay every time this happens it looks like I'm going backwards to block the LB who overran our HB...WHY the hell would I do that? Why can't I just stay in front of the HB?
