Original intent was to prevent guys from re-signing a bunch of times to hoard "bonus money" and then release them. Now that bonus money isn't a factor, can we kill the 6 day release rule including contract renegotiations?

If nothing else, i say kill it during off-season and preseason.

Yeah, wsdp and I are on the exact same page today. If It could even be bumped down to 2 days during the off-season, that would help tremendously.

good idea. I created a bunch of players just to fill up my roster and now I have it filled with other guys and I have to wait 6 days to retire my own dots.
