When you request to sign up, Please post the number in which you feel is your lucky number. If number is already taken, Please choose another. This is the number that will be drawn out of a bowl, that will place you against your opponent and your Bracket.
In the Past, I have said that the Four day rule will be strictly inforced.
Schedule of Games
This season, I will have a matchup date AGAIN. If not played within the day of matchup schedule, The team with no notification at all to me by PM or the forum, will be eliminated. ((This will be strictly enforced.)) Bort gave us a lot of extra Friendlies . I noticed the ability to schedule a game within two days most all season long. So leave these dates open Please,
1st round games will be played before day Four.
2nd round games will be played before day 8
3rd round will be played before day 12.
4th round games will be played before day 16.
5th round games will be played before day 20
6th round games will be played before day 24.
7th round games before day 28.
Championship Bracket
Top Two Teams of each Bracket will Play in The Championship Bracket.
Rd 1 games will be played before day 32
Rd 2 games will be played before day 36
Championship Games will be played before day 40.
1. If you are in the One Loss Bracket, Your Game will have to be played within a Four day time frame. These Four days are of GLB's days. Not from your Last game. I will enforce this strictly in season 17 and beyond.
2. Our Biggest problem, is when a team loses it's very first game. The Agent/Owner of the team get down and holds off a few days. I understand that losing sux's. Yet, There are several teams awaiting your next move.
3. The second biggest Problem is When a team wins in the winners bracket, They are happy. Then said team loses. They seem to stall after they recieved their first loss. Not any more.
4. Some teams (with an unlucky draw) faces a Higher More Talented team. The lower level teams gets depressed, and then stalls. I'm sorry this happens from time to time. Yet all teams still have to play to get to the Championship game. This is not my Fault, It's the luck of the draw. Don't punish the others team still alive PLEASE...
5. If you face a team in this tournament, That is in your league, If, and only if That game is within 3-4 days of the Posted Real Thing Tournaments Deadline Dates. We can work with this, due to the Fact that Flex cost money. However, You will have to have your next game with-in two or three days of your GLB schedule game.
6. I will allow, (if in the winners Bracket), a few days more to get their game scheduled.
This is because, they have a more time to work with their Schedule, due to the One Loss Teams eliminating each other. However, No more than Six to Seven days. I do prefer, that the winners Brackets Agent/Owners schedule their Game in a timely manner though.
In the Past, I worked a hectic Schedule. With my New Promotion at work, I am at Home a whole lot more. Therefore, I will be able to watch this much much closer.
In the Past, I might of been on a 36-54 hour work day, (Yes, Constant work going from Location to location, Job to Job) Now I go in much later, Come home for Lunch ect... Therefore, If I allow one, I had to allow several others in the past. Not anymore. This will be watched and Strictly Enforced....... I ask Kindly, Please don't force me to do this.
This is a Draw by Numbers Tournament. Any team can face any team at any given time.
This way a lower Level team, might get lucky in the draw, and face an even lower or equal team. It does not happen very often, yet it does from time to time. It may also have the Best two teams square off the very first game. This is also why their is a one Loss bracket, this gives a team a chance to come back fro the One Loss bracket later and face the team again, possibly. I have had teams in the past win it all after dropping into the one loss bracket.
I want all teams, to have a shot at winning at least one game, and not just One Loss and Gone. This is why I have chose the Double Elimination Brackets.
Again In the past, I have said That This will be strictly enforced, Well, Lets all just have fun, Play the tournament within the time frame, and I won't have to be a Jerk and Forfiet a team. I truly hate doing this. Trust me, I truly hate doing it, Yet from now on, it will be posted Why you were forfieted in the Game details of the respective bracket, and in the Forum.
