I have a question though.
Has anyone found a way to set up a 4th and short Defense that doesn't screw up punting?
Or does it auto punt return.
For example, If I set up a input that goes Goalline or stacks the box on a 4th and 2 or less, is that going to mess up a 4th and 2 where they punt?
4th and 2 they go for it so my input is run.
4th and 2 they punt so my punt return team goes out therre.
That's what I'm looking for, but I'm not sure if anyone's tried this yet.

I have 4th and short plays in my Defense AI and it only uses those when the offense goes for it. If they punt, our punt return team comes out.

when you go to cover 1 does the SS roll up to the line of scrimmage?

no. He is usually up about 3-4 yards closer than the FS and unless you have him blitzing, will generally catch the TE coming out.

If you set the play for run focus he will move up to close to the LOS.

I tried the "alternating" blitzing package with 2 max blitzers and 5 with percetnages of 50%. I always had 2 blitzing in the situation. Works great.

Has anyone noticed that 3-4 dime sometimes pulls the FS over to a WR3 receiver for man to man coverage in cover 0(man coverage)?

Has anyone answered if the TE's are considered in the WR set for number of recievers?

IS ther some way of setting blitz paths? For some reason when a LOLB on my team is blitzed with his pass rush on agility he tries to go thru the guard when stunting around the end is what he should do.

Has anyone mapped out the zone coverages from each coverage from each defensive formation?

Same for me.

As far as I understand coverage distance decide which zone the DB cover when they play zone coverage, short for short zones, medium for medium zones etc, or I´m completly wrong?

Do you guys know if in the defensive AI when you click on coverage distance if that means how long you stick with the guy your covering or if that is how far off the guy you play. meaning line up close to him or like 5-7 yards off him??

I think it has to do with zone coverage for LB's and safeties/corners and how far back they play.

I use:
Short - 1-7
Med - 7-14
Long - 14+

But I have also heard its 1-5, 6-10, 10+

sorry for a rather basic question. How do I even start to enable AI on my Tactics screen and begin to play around with this? I have a Lvl 30 minor team. Thanks
