OK, I wont go too much into my build but I am curious as to generally what the accepted amounts of str and tackling are before you can move your tackling tactics to balanced and power.
MY SS hasn't ever missed a tackle. I'm just about at 37 in tackling and it was okay for me to switch to balanced around 32/33. I've forced two fumbles in 5 games since then. I'll let you know if switching to "power" right now does anything as far as missing tackles.
I think it has less to do with whether or not your tackling is high and what settings your tackling is on (well it might, but not as much as some think)
Yeah, I'm with Sneez. I switched to power tactics and my missed tackles went through the roof. I'm just going to stick with wrap up and put more points in str and SAs.
I figure if I cause a fumble, cool, but if I miss a tackle as the safety, that could mean 6.
Nice yea my Corner got lucky on wrap-up last year he had 16 tackling 12 strength and forced 3 fumbles, lucky for you on all those plays your teams defense recovered the ball doesn't happen to often

Well since your in the secondary, it is much more likely that when you force a fumble your teammate gets it rather then the opposition. But that's not the case when you force a fumble near the line of scrimmage with many more opponent players around.
