SOAT went cpu because of funds. The team went into the negative the day of the game against the pee wee cougars. gl to everyone the rest of the season.

As the former STC of SOATD, no, GLB would not let us re-negotiate contracts down. They said that would be a huge disadvantage to the other teams if we were allowed to renegotiate contracts downward.....EVEN if all teams were allowed to do so. I was not a part of the team when the initial contracts were given out, so I cannot answer for those, but as for trying to correct it, trust me, we tried everything. My only answer from Catch22 was that it was just too bad.
It's a real shame we didn't get to play some of the top teams here--I think we would given them some good games.

Well, if your higher-salary players (i.e. the ones with higher morale also) played all of the games up until then, they had that morale advantage if the other teams stayed within the financial guidelines. So your team would have had a slight advantage.
I didn't understand the system until right before the season started. I had many high salary players that had to be renegotiated pronto.
