If you are worried about people buying less flex points, just reduce the FP give back with x% every plateau season.
We had originally planned that idea, tbh. Many people didn't like it very much (they said "just give it up and retire" or "boo cash grab").
We've discussed at various points adding another season onto the decline, but it all comes back to that.
is it possible if everyone who thinks adding another plateau season is a cash grab could die in a fire?I will light the fire
One season is not enough to get any kind of realism. It would be big step in the right direction though.
Seriously, people can scream cash crab, but this is a business.
Also, the way to create value long term for GLB is to have the football aspect being the most important in my opinion. Football is a team sport, and the way things are now you don't approach this as running a team, you just scramble to get as many commitments as soon as possible. There is nothing to resemble how a real team thinks when they go into the off-season that for instance want to add 3-5 starters on specific positions and some young back-ups through the draft. Here you have to change 50%+ of the team.
