I don't want to clutter up the game changes forum with a non-related bit of comments so I figured this would be a good place to add them.
Bort,
Thank you for making the changes to the Experience System. I understand that this will have an effect on the bottom line of GLB. With fewer teams needed to ensure players get maxXP, cartels and organizations can now field teams of full rosters from the very beginning of the players careers.
This is GREAT in that from the very beginning we can plan to be competitive, and this will certainly increase the quality of the SIM/Game for players who are new to GLB as teams are not going to be made up of 20-30 players with no tactics and a game plan designed only to ensure MaxXP.
It also benefits the new player coming in because they can not be hamstrung in their player development as easily. Its more likely they will spend their first few seasons getting Full/Max XP so that as they catch on to the game, their players wont suffer a double whammy of being built less optimally AND getting less experience than they need to keep up with players 'in the know.
This is a real positive development and as such I am going to show my appreciation. Some players I intended to re-rebuild I am going to keep around and boost and I am going to keep one of my extra teams (though I am going to request support move it to a non-huuman league as it will not have human players on it since we're going to consolidate and be competitive from day one) until the Flex I used to pay for the team is used up and the team naturally reverts back to CPU.
Thank you Bort for making a tough decision that will really help the game in the future!
