It seems unbalanced, and like there's no good reason for it.
Take the CBs for example, Man, Zone, and Hard Hitter, there are 3 SAs that tie directly to those archetypes Shutdown Coverage, Zone Specialist, and Jack hammer
Now any builder worth his salt doesn't touch SAs before level 50, but they do get them through CEQ and AEQ. If I'm building a man corner, chances are I'm rockimg SDC from my 30s on. If I'm building a zone or hard hitter, I have to cripple my build efficiency to build up ZS or JH before level 50.
Not to mention the fact that a man corner can rock 2 pieces of SDC AEQ and NEVER HAVE TO PUT SP IN IT.
Then there are the players who pick an existing SA as their bonus who also get to use AEQ on it both early and late in their careers. What is the difference other than they are older SAs?
IT seems like these new SAs are a pretty bad choice for your player because of the AEQ limitation.
It also discourages DCs who would like to run something besides cookie cutter man coverage. To run a zone D you are a forced to use inferior CBs because of how they have to spend SP on their key SA while man CBs don't.
Am I overlooking some logical reason why this must be? Or is it just too much of a pain to code in some new items to the AEQ store?
