I'm saying they lost on purpose so they could play you in the first round instead of Montpelier. Just wondering what you thought of that.

Never know..... On the Lumberjacks last year we lost last game of season to get 6th seed instead of getting 5th seed..... Plan worked out too got to conference championship like we planned! So it may or may not pan out for them!

Charleston & Crib won't be easy...but there is a lot of parity this year.

I dont feel that it is right to throw a game in order to get to play a different team. My opinion is that you have to beat everyone to be the best anyway. If your not the champion the rest does not matter. Good luck to all the playoff teams and lets have some close games. This was the toughest competition that i have had a privilege of playing. Hopefully see some of you next year

Yeah, no teams that I have been on would throw a game so unless one of the Rome people say otherwise, I will continue to assume they played to win. They may have underestimated their opponent and tried some things in anticipation of an easy W, or they just may be that bad as they fell apart down the stretch.

this is actually true. we didnt want to play DTit in the 2nd round. instead we pulled off a couple upsets and lost to them in the conference championship. We still had to play them eventually, we just delayed when it would happnen. It seemed to work for us.

No. But unless they used 1 play on O and 1 play on D, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were trying some things. IMO there is a difference between deciding to intentionally throw a game, and using a game for testing/tweaking.
