If you have an HB, can you pick Change direction for your extra SA? The reason I'm asking is it has been said they are the same thing http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1068932&page=2#8307440

If they are the same thing, and SAs aren't as powerful from 11+ will there be that "penalty"? Or will they be considered 2 different things?

good question... its not in the excluded list and nowhere does it say that defensive SAs can't be chosen for offensive players.

I am p sure that I saw somewhere that, while they do the same thing, they don't stack, so only one would trigger at a time.

It is impossible to find a qc/cd piece on the same player. If you have a player with cd as an sa you can't find qc. If you have a player with qc, you wont be able to find CD. Anyone who says they have is lying, make them open build to prove it. It is not possible.

I'm talking about the SA we get to pick for the new guys. HBs already have QC, couldn't you pick CD? Just wondering if any penalty would be involved.

I think I remember someone saying that wouldn't be allowed, but my memory is nowhere near an authoritative source, so I guess you'll wait for someone in the know.

CD isn't on the exclusion list for HBs. If they stack, that should probably be changed so you can't get a 10 in QC by building QC and CD to 5.

I think maybe we should just eliminate one of them and rename it to be the exact same SA.

If that means that once added together they will be less effective starting at 11, that should probably be public knowledge.

It means that you cannot take them both together at all, ever, because they are the same SA.

It is impossible to have them both, because they are the same SA. Like, exactly the same. CD = QC.

You cannot have the same SA twice, thus you cannot have both CD and QC.

In other words 5 QC and 5 CD = No
