Warrior General Games

I'm writing a new script to allow people to sort their player list on the home page (http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=297988 ). However, I only have one player and thus cannot thoroughly test it. I would appreciate it if any of you with multiple players could do some testing for me. Players of different positions and teams are preferred, but any help would be great.

As of right now only the choices "Alphabetical", "Team", and "Position" should result in any kind of sorting. The other choices will/should do nothing.

Great scripts, forest. Any chance of one like the watch game/score one that puts a current score tracker on the replay pages? Or would that be pulling info from another page and thus fuck things up?

EDIT: For the player sorter, how about the ability to do min ---> max AND max ---> min.
Example: Sort by level currently does lowest --> greatest. Include the option to have the reverse order, so you'd have greatest ---> least. Same could be done with any of the other options.

And yeah Ascending/Descending shouldn't be a problem. Once I get all the options working one way I'll add it in.

Good to hear. I just added Ascending/Descending, let me know how it works. It should reorder everytime you select something in either list other than "Sort Players" or the option you currently have selected.

Great. Not hard to implement, just reversed the order when ascending was picked.

Are there any other variables you guys would like to sort by? Basic ones like energy level are easy to implement while features such as sorting within a sort would take more time and likely a reworking of the system.

Someone needs to create a greasemonkey script that you would highlight the major and minor attributes for a player based on position when you are entering new skill points (better yet if it had selectable options to have it show you major and minor for a particular build, like blocking fb or shutdown corner). That would be really helpful for everyone, I think (unfortunately I have no programming ability myself or I'd give it a shot).

Shouldn't be too hard. I can make one based on the attributes outlined in the "Guide to creating players" thread.

Finally finished. All you have to do is click the link below and it is installed. What this does is let you see what the major and minor stats are on any of your players' skill points pages. The major skills are red, and the minor skills are blue. Of course the other skills are still black. No need to change the script around for a certain position, because the script gets the position from your skill points page. So, just install it and you're ready to roll. This is my first "official" public script, so tell me what you think!

Yomama- For some reason when Installed your userscript it wiped out all my other ones from the list. The files still exist, just they aren't being recognized by greasemonkey.

It should work for all positions. I'll test it some more and upload it after I get this greasemonkey business sorted out.
