This is a compilation of statistics that we would like added to GLB. If there are any additional suggestions just post them here or pm me and I’ll add them. It is possible that some of these suggestions are already in the game and/or suggested, if so then… our bad



Player Statistics:
All Players:
Level (Indentify the level at which the player played at)
Games Started
# of penalities, type and total yards
Remove first year player stats for players created after D40.

Offensive Players:
# of times thrown too (IE targetted, receivers)
Targetted 3rd/4th Down (included catches/attempts/%)
Pancakes/Pancaked added to HB/FB/TE
Yards After Contact
Yards After 1st Hit (HB/FB/WR/TE)
Yards from scrimmage (Runs + receptions)
Red Zone Targets (how often a receiver/rusher was used in the red zone)
Red Zone Success Rate (% that the receiver/rusher was successful)
Longest Pass/YAC/Run/Reception

Defensive Players:
Pancakes/Pancaked
Assists (not sure if this is possible in a cpu sim)
Passes Defended (# of times thrown too)
Catches allowed (LB/DB)
% allowed (defended/allowed)
Catches allowed over 20 yards (LB/DB)
Yards after completition (LB/DB)
TFL Yards
Number Of Sticks (Tackles with no YAC or Yards past scrimmage)
# balls knocked lose

Special Team Players:
Include a separate section for special team specific play statistics (on there should be…)
Pancakes (both in stats and on box score)
Pancaked
Tackles
Any player on ST's should show up in box score in ST section.
Move ST box to the end of the box score (or make it customizable)

Quarterbacks:
Dropped Passes
Longest Throw
3rd Down Conv%
4th Down Conv%
Bad throws
Bad throws %
Completion Percentage without drops

OL:
Sacks Allowed (last one who touched the sacking player, not sure if this is doable)
Hurries Given Up
# of blocks held
Blocks held average time
Key Blocks (blocks held while a ball carrier passed within a certain range)
Total Blocks
Blocks Per Game
Blocks Broken
Rev Cakes

Kickers:
Game winning FGM/FGA
Longest FGM/FGA
Total Points (FG's + XP's)
KO’s
KO Yards
KO Average Distance
KO Average spot
Touchbacks
% of touchbacks

Punters:
Punts inside the 5/10/15/20 yard markers and % in each
Coffin Corners inside the 5/10/15/20 and % in each
Average Hangtime
Longest punt
Net Distance
Net Punting Average (Punt Yards - Return Yards / # Punts )
Average Coffin Corner
Touch Backs


Team Statistics:
Time of possesion
Sacks Allowed
% Sacks per Pass play
% pressure (sacks+hurries) per pass play
3rd Down Conversion %
4th Down Conversion %
1st Downs (total)
Redzone % (Both O and D)
Rank - A conference, league, and level rank of a teams major statistics. Passing yards, running yards, etc. (IE: Passing Yards #2 in Conference, #6 in League, #16 in AAA)

Team Defense/Offense:
Total Yards Allowed
Total Yards Allowed Per Game
Rushing Yards Allowed
Rushing Yards Allowed Per Game
Passing Yards Allowed
Passing Yards Allowed Per Game
Points Allowed
Points Allowed Per Game

Team History Page:
W/L/T PCT for every year the team was around.
Include top 3/5/10 rivals and win/loss record (if this feature is implemented)

League Leaders:
Most Broken Tackles (added to rushers)

League History Page:
All time league leaders in stats
Active leaders

Boxscore:
Longest play (per player… run/pass/reception/YAC)

Scout Page:
# of plays per game

Other:
Sortable Stats
Ability to specify what stats are tracked per (own) player.

Added punts inside the 20 and percentage of points inside the 20.

I was just skimming through it, not bad at all. A bit surprised I missed it since I did scan through the epic real quick. However, most of the these stats I pulled from recent posts over the last week+. The individual who made that first post was banned. But if a mod can update that posting with these suggestions (and the ones suggested in that epic) it would be perfect. That way all information is contained in one OP.

Only about 3-4 of the suggestions within this OP are on there. So the rest would need to be added. No biggie. I'll post them there, then if a mod would be kind enough to bounce this thread.

If you don't mind, I think it would be great if you went ahead and turned this OP into an updated list after all the posts in there ... then we can lock that thread and continue any discussion on new metrics on this thread ... with discussion leader as someone who isn't banned

Sure i'd be happy to do that. Let me just format the OP a little bit better for readability then I'll pull in those measurements.

Special Teams Pancakes is another one. Also if possible team stats that reflect how much avg return yds against the team. Kick and punt.

Alright I've updated this thread to comprise all of the suggestions posted not just here, but also in the other banned individuals forum. If I missed anything just let me know

A definite +1 for most of these. I am in particular hoping for additional stats for punters.
