If there's something specific you are wondering if it has been tested, the rules of the test server, what I've been able to learn from it or anything involving it that I can answer (the only thing I can think of that I can't would be to give you a list of testers' names), feel free to ask it here. Can't promise I'll have a good answer for you, but it will be an honest one.

nothing major, but are new offensive plays or an offensive play creator in the near-distant future?

OPC is pretty much never going to happen.

Plays...dunno

yeah...nothing at all going on over there with an OPC, but I and 1 or 2 more have been mentioning that we need to fix all the current plays that are worthless and that we need to add some more. Whether it will happen or when, no clue

has Bort mentioned anything else about the selecting the hot route idea for our current plays? i know he was kind of interested in that a month or so ago...

do you think Bort will ever implement a better way to view the player builds?

for some reason - I just get hypnotized looking at the excel type spread sheet - and it just doesn't work for me (I'm sure because I'm dumb/lazy/something else)

another question -

is the consensus that the WR boost to head fake was effective? is it still being looked at / tweaked?

I'm asking - of course - because I have one - 17 head fake; +90% fake when playing against players higher level than me (45 otherwise)-

and i was just curious as I haven't really seen much/any difference. my build definitely has flaws so I'm not claiming it's perfect:

Strength: 27
Speed: 102.26 (+22)
Agility: 85.26 (+7)
Jumping: 48.26
Stamina: 43.26
Vision: 56.26
Confidence: 48.96

Catching: 66.26 (+2)
Carrying: 54.96 (+3)

Route Running: 5
First Step: 7
Quick Cut: 5
Head Fake: 17
Spin: 3
Juke: 1

Veteran Abilities
Clever Instincts: 15
Possession Receiver: 15
Quick Feet: 15
Underdog: 2

No, I don't.

If anyone ever wants to know the exact build of a player from a tester's test game, I'm sure all they would have to do is pm the tester and they would be glad to copy it for them.

A few of us have mentioned it recently, but the closest I can get to a comment from Bort so far is this, when discussing how to stop the exact same blitz from being ran 20+ times a game:

Yeah, maybe I could track repeated blitzes by keeping track of a "grid" of places blitzes have occurred from. Then I can compare the placement of players and get a percentage of "sameness" to previously run plays. Over some threshold % = same blitz.

How does the QB improve because of it, though? I could see if we had audibles, he could call for an audible. Or how does the penalty work otherwise? Does the O get better blocking?

what all does the audible do? does it change the primary receiver (hot route) to the weaker part of the defense? or is it just a blocking thing? does it completely change the play?

I just want to be able to select the primary route on a play as some of the plays meant for certain positions would be better off if they were blockers and someone else was the hot route.

At this time, the only "audible" on the test server is the ability to set it so that the backs &/or TE can stay in against blitzes, instead of running their routes, assuming they aren't the primary target on the play. More than that, testers are just tossing around the term audible, saying that it could help, but absolutely nothing else has been done and I'm 99% sure that the above quote is the only thing Bort has even come close to saying about it thus far.

Never really a consensus to be had. That was really my baby and the other testers just sort of stayed out of it. IMO, it's better, but I'd still like to see it bumped up just a little more. Will it happen? not sure, but I'm most likely going to suggest it closer to the off ssn or once some of the bigger fires get put out, which ever comes first.

damn..kinda sucks the primary target can't block..thats why we need hot route selection.

Why is the FB Texas play being tested so much, and what is hoped to be learned from all the tests on HB/FB passing?

Test links? (I'm too lazy to go look it up)

I'm not sure why but I'll be glad to find out.
