how much stamina is too much for a kicker/punter? personally i will train it up to 15.

I guess it depends on the number of plays you get in a game. The most i've had is 12 plays, so that's my stamina.

never done anything with it. don't plan to unless it becomes an issue. I guess I'd train it after I trained just about everything else.

Usually not too much, but if you play on a team with a good offense, then your kicker can use up a lot of energy. I always want to make sure that I can train on normal so I monitor it closely.

because if you don't it will affect your in game performance. Also it is really quick to train up since it is so low.

I trained my kickers stamina up to about where Guernon's is and saw improvement.

I've decided I like to keep my stamina at right about my player level, or a bit below. It's worked well, early in the game, anyway.

I've kept my stamina in the teens and play on high intensity, I've never had a problem.

Eh, fuck it, I'll train a few points into it. I've had 7 the whole last season and was 5th in the league in punt avg. I'm more interested in if it improves consistency.

Here I am talking about a punter like he's a real player.

My K has 9 stamina and seems to do fine. As long as he doesnt drop past 70 in energy after a game, I'm not going to put a single point into it. I'm more than willing to train on relaxed for 2 days if need be and I rather put SP and training points into things that will actually improve my players perfomance.

Whoa there, I don't think anyone's crazy enough to put SP into stamina.

I think the point is that theres a decrease in performance when at less than 100% energy. I trained stamina for a week or two last season and noticed a greater completion of kicks in 4th Quarter. Of course my kicker gets to take a lot more kicks than yours so my late game fall off was noticable yours maybe not so much

My K has 9.2 stamina. He had 10 kick-offs (2 tackles), 8 PATs, and 2 FG attempts in his last game and ended at 85 energy so I think 15 stamina is way too high until you get to the upper levels.

I'm not sure how much energy PATs take though. Probably none to very little.

The stat line for game 11 last season I ended with 73 energy with 10 stamina

That's not too bad. 15 kick-offs and you would still be able to train and get back to 100 engergy before the next game.
