pahleeze you can't have a "rookie category" for players moving down to pwn lower levels. if we were in A, AA, AAA, or Pro and someone came from a lower league i could see that being a valid category. throw that junk out or change it to "Ringers".

New players to the league are considered rookies. If you wanted to change it to level 1-4's then that be fine but go ahead and pick one who does something in this league at that level.

new players to the league are not considered rookies to me if they came from a higher league and 9 levels higher than our median. the rookie category should be thrown out. I for sure won't give credit or acknowledgement to that award. As for the other awards those make sense.

Where did you get the median was 11? I haven't seen it posted anywhere. I'm almost positive maybe in the off-season it "could" be 11 but I doubt even that. I know the medium certainly has to be changing, multiple teams in this league have been boosting so if anything it should be much higher. I don't think someone's level should really determine if they are rookie of the year rather if they are either

A) First season on GLB

B) Rookie to the league

That should be the only two factors considered and it should be one or the other.

I think it should only be first season on GLB. Just throwing that out there.

I think both points can be argued but one will make little sense. Who wants to look thorugh the few (if any) level 4's in this league and see who actually had somewhat of an impact? I personally think to the league should be the standard because hypothetically if Adrian Peterson was a GLB player he wouldn't be a level 4 competing against level 15-20's. Just my two cents though.

The median is posted somewhere in the GLB Forum. I believe it is "unofficial", but it's there. Anyways I agree bullfrog, you can't say a player (I would imagine one of the better ones too) coming down from pro is rookie of the year. It may not be a very good analogy but thats like sending a 3rd yr pro to play in college, not to mention it wouldnt be any college, it would be an already stacked college who should have won it all last year.

Now leave your biased aside and attempt to bring a logical argument on how we should do it. Also I know their is a link, I posted it. That was for the off-season...

Bias on what? I own a middle of the pack team that wont have any players winning rookie of the year/mvp/and whatever else is up there. It doesnt affect me at all.

I would just scrap the award all together. If you really want it there then call it something else, "First Year BBB Player" for all I care; just don't call it ROY.
