That's not really accurate. You don't hear much of anything from O-linemen. But they definitely keep track of that sort of thing.

When my sorry ass Raiders actually had an offense, the guards used to have a weekly competition to see who could pile up the most pancakes every game. Or, as they called them, "domination blocks".

I'm not trying to be snotty, but this kind of proves my point. With the additional speed I think our team only gave up 11 hurries and no sacks prior to the playoffs

so speed at 23 or so is good enough for you?

I noticed blocking is all the way up to 70. Does it need to be that high?

I've never put skill points on speed, agility, or vision. Only trained them so thats why they are around 23-25. You can see where the skill points have gone... blocking, strength, and stamina.
I do have all equipment on blocking, so thats +18. I've always found blocking to be an extremely effective attribute, and with strength its only important to not be outmatched. When that OT touches the DE the play is over, he locks on and they don't get off his block. Strength helps reduce stamina loss, but for OTs I think Blocking is more important. I have guards (Jekyll and Hyde) with 70 strength and 7 on the pancake ability, and my OT with 75 blocking has consistently out-pancaked them every game. So I'm tired of the strength and pancake ability, spent too many skill points on that stuff.

Thats prob cause DT's are focusing more on STR then DE's atm. So its harder to get a pancake on a decent DT.

Crushing the DE before the DE uses the speed seems effective to me.

If he runs around you without you touching him it does no good.
