Look at their result against the Pugs, a strong Gold team, and revisit what they did last year. Put simply, FT is a Gold team stuck in Silver this season.

Next season gold will be LOADED.
Too bad GLB and FT can't go together.

Maybe next season FT and CM.

Day 10 at 10 AM server time the ranking script leader (GA Assault) will face off with the "Forum's Peoples Champion" in a no holds barred battle to the best!

I'd like to see some score predictions out of all of you guys if you have the time, it will give us something else to talk about besides the silly ranking script.

Good Luck to you FT and may the best team win.

Yeah, our owner just had a baby and I think he's slipping . Probably didn't realize you guys were in the same league, lol. I'd say you were probably trying to scout us for the championship game, but I think GLB is the front-runner from our side of the bracket, and I think you guys will have a slugfest if you play UFC again.

Anyway, we're not going to boost to keep up with you and I'm not really interested in using anything other than our dummy AI, so...

Georgia wins 17-3 is my prediction.

I hope next year is our year, I don't want to spend a 4th year here.

We are going to use the AI from our Atlanta Apocalypse tourney game (0-7).

We almost broke it loose in that game twice so I'm going to call it 7-7 +/-3 your favor.

This is really just for fun since everyone seemed so upset about the ranking script I hoped we would have something else to talk about. We play UFC late in the season so they will be caught up to our single boost and I agree it will be a hard fought game.

Lol listen to this guy, trying to play the underdog! You know damn well you're the team to beat in the league, not to mention Silver in general. A+ for effort though guys. ^^; This is a tough league any way you look at it though, plenty of good teams who can win it any given day, should be a great season.

wow it really sounds like this is not the league to be in for first time team owners such as myself. you guys all have tons of guys that boost and it looks like my team isnt gonna have much of a shot. but whatever, its my first season as team owner so what did i really expect?

That is a massive understatement as this is widely accepted as being the toughest Silver league out there. The top teams will be composed of mainly day 31 created players, with a large number of those players sporting CEQ, and being boosters. That being said, if you have good builds, good tactics, and good AI's you can definitely compete and if not, just use it to learn for next year.

Since only 1 team moves up the majority of us will be around next season slugging it out with you. And ask questions at any time because there are a lot of really knowledgeable and friendly people here too.

Lol I mainly use this team to launch one or two players on their glb careers. I was kinda pissed to get promoted. I'll be in a few games but look forward to the ass kickings the fund will receive for the rest of the year.

You're doing ok, just keep learning. It often takes a couple of seasons for new PeeWee teams to build up a stable of good agents that will build for PeeWee, boost, and purchase custom equipment.

Normally in the first couple of seasons you'll have to deal with the idiots who build receivers and then complain that you don't throw it 60 times a game, slow builders, and the losers who complain about playing time. Not to mention it'll take awhile to learn the in's and out's of coaching PeeWee. It wasn't until the 3rd season of Final Thought (formerly Pee Wii Warmageddon) that we were finally competitive, and probably just last year that we really got our act together and became pretty good. If you start out with a good group of guys, though, that could speed up the process.

And on the flip side, being in a good league will teach you a lot more. The best way to learn this game is to play really good teams and figure out why they kicked your butt and what they are doing. One of the downsides, IMO, to the PeeWee tiers is that new owners in Copper rarely learn anything that first year. They only play a couple meaningful games, have a good record, then move up to silver and get crushed. Obviously there are some teams who really are good (and we have a handful in our league, unfortunately )) and can make the transition, but they typically have experienced coaches. So while it may feel pretty crappy, be thankful you can start in silver...you'll learn a lot more. A strong testament to this is how many teams that are good now came from the same handful of leagues in the old system.

Balla, if you haven't already you should join up for the Pee Wee Acadamy private form. It's a great resource for new owners and truly for networking. The biggest key to Pee Wee is getting 55 players, with a large percentage willing to go with CEQ and boosting and networking with other Pee Wee owners is probably the best way to recruit for next year. Good solid AI (which you can figure out by watching good teams play) will get you some wins, the team I'm GM'ing in this league New Amsterdam is proof of that but it will catch up with you later in the season.

New Amsterdam had just 24 players as the first pre-season game was played, we had to recruit guys that were built as many as 20 days or so after the day 31 players, I have no idea how many will boost but it won't matter much, we will be whipping boys by 3/4's of the season in (if not this week against UFC, who I don't think we'll score against).

They've already had one of those. No I think they'll put up 17 on us.
